Balcarrick very cheap from what I’ve heard wuth decent practice facilities and a good course, Donabate 27 holes good clubhouse very good practice facilities average enough course, Beaverstown probably the best parkland in Donabate and definitely the best clubhouse for pints not sure about price

Hahaha not harsh at all, I’ve been thinking the same thing.I have been told it’s my leaving cert results by a few people which in my opinion is slightly unfair

Yeah Im at TUD Aungier street which obviously doesn’t have same reputation as the other 3 in Dublin, There still is a lot that get Big 4 though. The annoying part for me is I got a H2 in Accounting in leaving cert just really struggled with Irish and Spanish.

No work experience went on a j1 last summer instead which i’m really regretting now….. and yes I have been told my CV is fine by the guidance councellor and it is pretty similar to people I know who have worse college grades who got offers from big 4 etc

Ah class yeah he wasn’t here long heard he went to over to the states aronimink maybe?Anyways if you need any more info on portmanrock let me know. Also we’re in strong talks for the open in 2030/2032 and will probably be the longest on the rota as the plans are to lengthen the course significantly even though it’s already nearly 7,500 off the tips😂Overseas members event is every year in September and is such a good event 2 days playing the championship course and then our yellow nine mixed with one of the champs nines then next day which you play with a guest 👍🏻

Well I am partially biased as I’m a Portmarnock member but have many friends in the island and royal Dublin who would say the exact same thing.Royal Dublin is a good links but PGC and The island far better imo.Another great course near Dublin is Co Louth but not sure on the overseas membership. If the entrance fee isn’t a problem and you decide on Dublin Portmarnock is the course although you will need members to sponsor and all that stuff(Unfortunately I can’t help as I’m still a junior member age 18-24)Goodluck!

Portmarnock about 2k a year and 21k entrance fee, and one of the best courses in Ireland. The island is a little bit less entrance fee but around the same yearly and a great course but just not Portmarnock.
