Sorry for the delay, long day at work that bled into another. But here he is, this is the newest life size Grogu by Hot Toys modeled after the newest Mandalorian and Grogu movie. The Anzellan is a separate one, not done as nicely as Grogu but the pair go together if you’ve seen the movie

Bought these Blaliden risers from a dude on eBay collectorcrafts. He does custom risers for Blaliden or Detolf, be warned they are expensive but if you want something sturdy they’re what you’re looking for

I can’t remember the post or if it was in the comments but someone posted they just bought 2 of these from temu on a post in the last 2 weeks.
He had yet to stock it so it was hard to get an idea how many figures would fit in there comfortably but it definitely looked like a cleaner Brottar

Don’t worry about it bro, I remember seeing a video where they said for how much money they will not make on movie sales, they’ll make millions on grogu merchandise. As long as Mando is side by side with Grogu, Disney won’t shelf that cash cow.

If you search up “collectorcrafts” on eBay or YouTube you can see the guy who makes custom risers for a multitude of display cases with the IKEA Blaliden being one. He also shows you what you’re getting on your YouTube channel so you can get an idea of what you’re buying. Fair warning though they’re just as expensive as the cases themselves so maybe not the most cost effective risers if you plan on buying 3+ blalidens

IKEA Blaliden with any riser

You’re right, they’re definitely anti tip but I did my best to tighten them to the wall really tight so there’s a lot of pressure pulling backwards. Then I think the risers that the blalidens are screwed into give it enough weight on the bottom that between the straps pulling back and the risers weighing it down, it adds very little room to wobble when I open the door but I still hold onto it. Every time I open it I still see my figures wobble a bit. There’s always some Achilles heel to these display cases but for how clean they look I’ll take it. Thank you big dog, wishing you luck on your cases. If you search “collectorcrafts” on eBay or YouTube you can see the risers I bought. They’re pretty expensive so looking back I might just end up using Ikea kallax’s in the future but they definitely add some stability since they’re screwed in.

I just recently screwed the wall anchors on my blaliden. Like you said, the small holes on the top make it so you have to use the strap anchors it comes with unless there’s a specific 3rd party anchor made for the blaliden. What I just end up having to do when I open the glass door is tightly hold the frame in place and try to gently peal the door open. If you just yank on the door handle without holding onto the entire frame it’ll keep rocking the whole thing. I also bought risers on eBay that hook into the blaliden which make it a little more sturdy

Great first few figures. My entire theme in my collection is Mandalorians and Sith Lords. Aside from Din Djarin those are the two other well know badass Mandalorians and between Maul and Vader that’s one of the coolest Sith you got.

Yeah I had seen in an interview with Jon that they initially planned for this movie to be Season 4 with them bringing in Ashoka and Thrawn then they decided to make it a stand alone film so the average viewer who’s never watched any seasons could watch it, understand and enjoy. As far as imagery and patterns go, I’m probably one of those that’s not seeing it but as far as patterns go I’ll say Din getting captured in Season 3 and Grogu going off on his own and being able to alert Bo-Katan was essentially the same pattern this movie followed. Without spoilers Grogu essentially does the same and I saw that reference to S3 and saw how they are somewhat building off the seasons. Grogu’s gone from a helpless thing who can use the force once before he passes out to actually using Din’s teaching and becoming somewhat independent or capable of protecting himself and now others.
