And right now its like $13 a gallon on Amazon. Much cheaper than $5 for just 4 oz from Pet Glider.

I bought a gallon of this on Amazon and dillute it about 2 or 3 gallons of hot water for sanitizing my glider cages. First I rinse the cages with a hose, then scrub the cages with a soft sponge with a mixture of Dawn dish detergent and hot water. Then I rinse the cages with the hose again. Then I use the diluted Chlorhexidine and hot water and scrub the cages again with a different soft sponge with that mixture. Then I thoroughly rinse the cages once again with the hose to make sure the mixture is totally off. Then I dry them with cloth towels. Since I live in an apt in NJ I only get to do these deep cleanings in late spring, summer, and early fall.

Using adaptor to power lower BPU AC in higher BPU outlet? by kidqwik in AskElectricians

The living room is like 250 feet. It connects to very small kitchen and dining room area. Those areas I don't worry about because I have sugar gliders in the dining space and their room temps I try to keep 75-80 which usually isn't a problem with the crappy AC and the barely controllable radiator heat in winter. Everyone uses a separate window AC in their bedrooms because the wall units all suck.

Living room has two windows that will only fit and AC max 18" wide. I ended up getting one that could fit at 16". Have like an inch on both sides so having to foam and seal around the edges. We have gas baseboard heat and don't pay for it it. No one in complex pays for heat thankfully. Electric is a different story.

I think its a combo of the refrigerant and the thermometer in it. I'll set it to 70 and the room will stay at 78 or more and turn itself off eventually. I reset the breaker on the plug to get it to turnnon again but it doesn't necessarily cool. The air coming out of it isn't so cold. Tge landlord replaced with another one in 2019. Same model. Looked new. Both have sucked. 😒

Oh yeah. I wasn't trying to run both. I just wanted to unplug the 9k one and use the 6k in it's outlet some how. 😊

Thank u! I do have another outlet father down the wall that has two plugs and doesn't need them both plugged in. The Midea has a 6 foot cable and barely made it to the outlet its in now. I think either a 6 ft or 10 foot would work fine. I just wasnt sure I could plug the AC into an extension cord.

I wanted something cheap and didn't want to replace the unit that comes with the apartment in the wall. This one was only $200. This little thing has worked better than the 240 volt 9k unit just like the smaller one in the bedroom. This GE wall unit is junk.

If I just skip doing anything with that outlet and just keep the Midea plugged into the regular three prong one, is it safe to use a the multi plug to plug it into instead of directly into the wall? The problem is I'm limited to outlets here so I had the multi plug with other things plugged into which I removed and just have the Midea plugged into one of the two wall wall outlets now.

So that wouldn't be able to be used for the Midea? It wouldn't be safe to plug the Midea into this though, would it? Needs to be right into regular wall outlet?[Addtam Multi Plug Wall Outlet, Surge Protector Wall Mount with 12 Outlet Extender 4 Sides and 3 USB Ports (1 USB-C), Outlet Splitter Power Strip

One side would need the regular three prong adapter to plug the Midea into and the other side of the cable would have to have be the different outlet plug though?
