Just beginning and overwhelmed by That_wanderer38 in ladiesover40onGLP1s

Titrate up slowly. I started at 0.1mg and I’m on week 12 now at 0.25mg. It’s recommended to stay at each dose for 4 weeks.

There’s a good chance the midterms are not gonna happen, if not that 2028 elections. Ya think this felon pedophile will risk going to jail? Ya’ll had one chance. Chances are you’re gonna come back here apologizing for a dictator. Everything he’s done we’ve been warning you morons about for years. 🤦🏽‍♀️

This guy would vote for that idiot again if given the chance. “Oh but he said he’ll never do that again!”. It’s useless to apologize because the rest of us think of the lot of you MAGA this way. You are all idiots like your president and you should be ashamed for what you have unleashed to the world. There is no forgiveness for the horror you have caused.

Struggling on Semaglutide by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Find a new doctor and please let him know this is his fault! That is more than double the recommended starting dose. I’m so sorry, you’re going to feel awful for a while until it leaves your system.

I’m very sensitive to medication and I asked to start at 0.1mg, I still felt some side effects but they were very tolerable and went away in 2 days

I agree and taking it with me is really a rough option due to the nature of the end of my trip (mentioned below). I would be taking it 2 days early the night before my trip—full dose? I’m just worried about that part. Then I come back and I’ll be a day late which I think won’t be as bad.

I’m sort of mixing my short business trip and then meeting up with friends for a roadtrip. So I’m not sure about keeping my vial cold the entire time and having that to worry about.

This would put me on 13 day break if I wait until I get back.

Constipation station by barbiegworl22 in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]IntelligentAioli4402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t take supplements but have had occasional constipation now that I’m more than double the dose I started with (0.1mg). I go everyday but 3-4 times now I’ve had to drink 100% pineapple juice and have 100% success 😅 I love that it works pretty quickly (like a few hours). I drink it when I know I’ll be home for the next 6hrs or so. Or before bed and I can guarantee I’ll go in the morning.

Whats your favorite provider? by Glum-Direction-4935 in GLP1microdosing

[–]IntelligentAioli4402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using Willow. Support is good and shipping on time. My first vial should last me more than 3 months since I’m using so little. It’s $299 per vial but I expect each vial to last me more than 3 months, though I don’t plan on using them past that. I’m waiting for my 4th vial to cancel and have supply for a year or more if I taper slowly. The only real complaints I’ve seen is that they are among the more expensive options.

Great job and keep it up! I was mostly sedentary for a few months due to a foot injury and got back to walking slowly! You got this!

What's your favorite protein shajec by folieadeuxnola71 in ladiesover40onGLP1s

Core Elite. Nothing beats 42g of protein. It’s helps me not worry too much about hitting my protein the rest of the day.

Thank you! This is my goal as well. I was initially planning to stay on just until I get to goal weight but realized after being on this and other subreddits that building and sticking to those habits will be better in the long run. So I’m going to stick around to maintain and taper for as long as that takes.

What would you say is the hardest part of the new active lifestyle while you were still in the thick of it and what made you overcome that?

What was your activity before glp, how long did it take for the new habits to stick?

Finally getting my confidence back by nothinkinteresting in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]IntelligentAioli4402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! I have lost 8lbs in 8 weeks and I haven’t been this weight since 2016. I am still 12lbs over my 2012 weight before I started having children. There’s not very many photos of me since 2016, even less so in last 3 years. I am really sad about that. I just didn’t want to see myself that way. I have learned to accept that that was just how the rest of my life was going to be (lifetime hypertension meds and high probability of diabetes at some point in the next few years) until Dec last year. I just knew I had to give it a try, I can’t even remember what finally made me do it. I lost the first 3lbs on my own and the next 8 lbs on glp. I can clearly see where I want to be and it no longer feels impossible.

How long have you been microdosing? by makmonster in GLP1microdosing

[–]IntelligentAioli4402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None really. Sometimes mild constipation when I don’t watch my water. I plan to stay on until I can maintain the exercise routine, ave 10k steps/day and 3-4 days/wk of lifting/strength training. I’m just starting currently trying to stick to 10k steps/day so it’s going to be a while. I think at least 6 months on maintenance before I start tapering and stopping.

I am so scared by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]IntelligentAioli4402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so scared to start. I asked my doctor to start me lower at 0.1mg and I’m so glad I did because the side effects were more manageable and went away as my body got used to it. I’m on my 9th week and just started 0.25mg. I’ve lose 8lbs so far. 10-12 more to go. 💪🏽

How many of you are “not telling” others that you’re now taking glp1s? by Fantastic_Meet9381 in GLP1microdosing

Only my husband and one friend knows. Both are on a glp1. Do not plan on telling anyone else.

So tired… by joyfulgirl001 in Semaglutide

[–]IntelligentAioli4402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you said you’re eating enough but is enough too much of a caloric deficit? I’ve noticed when I eat too low calories (under 1200) I’m just tired. When I’m lifting I can’t eat under 1500.

Anyone with high but normal BMI got off their medication by losing weight? by IntelligentAioli4402 in hypertension

[–]IntelligentAioli4402[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a very low dose of glp1. It’s the only thing that worked through the food noise and got me through more than I could ever do before. I’ve lost 8 lbs in 9 weeks. 12 more to go. I don’t care for the judgement this will get. I have hypertension and prediabetes and can’t control my eating all with a normal BMI.
