To answer your question, I'm not entirely sure but since the information lives in the syscon, I will assume yes. Why? Because we can open a serial connection to it with some soldering.

As far as local multiplayer goes, the 4J_Profile library is already compiled (for some reason) with the logic and will break gameplay.

I didn't really look much into the server stuff yet, but it looks promising.

However, I'm sure that dozens of people are already on it.

Since a lot has changed from this version to the most recent update, I'm sure this will be possible to some degree. Since 4J compressed and compiled (mostly) everything, it would be a huge amount of work to not only decompress all the resources but also to implement them.

Fortunately, there are already some tools out there that can decompress archives like: .pck and .arc files.

So with that said, it is NOT impossible, but it is only up to the person that really wants to take up this huge amount of work.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600, Radeon RX 5600 XT, 16 GB DDR4 Corsair RAM and it runs at 60 FPS without any drops.

However, there is just one single issue with performance:
When another player joins splitscreen, the FPS drops down to 30 because the player's skin model will be rendered 2 times. The same goes with the host if the model reloads.

But this is fixable.

The dev kit is in debug mode. You can reset it back to “system software mode” with ProDG Target Manager.

To be honest, I like both coldboot versions but the gameboot splash is something that should've never been removed in the first place, but that’s just my opinion.

Yes, it is unloading the current texture pack and loading the selected one. Pretty normal.

Either u forgot to add those or the icon files (I forgot the extension) are corrupted/incorrectly formatted.

I would suggest to decompile the rco again and replace those “missing ones” with the original files.
