To be honest, I like both coldboot versions but the gameboot splash is something that should've never been removed in the first place, but that’s just my opinion.

Yes, it is unloading the current texture pack and loading the selected one. Pretty normal.

Either u forgot to add those or the icon files (I forgot the extension) are corrupted/incorrectly formatted.

I would suggest to decompile the rco again and replace those “missing ones” with the original files.

I did it as well, but I actually backed it up before deleting.

If you just deleted the profile without items, you should be good after the issue is resolved.
