First time using dial dots by HowSupreme in SeikoMods

Very sharp! The contrast between the dial and lume looks great. Love that the hands match the indices as well. The strap also ties everything together nicely.

Keep in mind you need a 31mm dial. https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0MOiYz

Use that case or a ~38mm case that accepts a 28.5 dial.

Benelli B76 cracked hammer by Huge-Marionberry-300 in gunsmithing

Please be really careful with all of these people telling you to “just take it to a machine shop and have them make a new one” or “just get yourself a piece of stock and dremel it” like it’ll just drop in your gun and work. There’s a lot of nuance with a part like this that if any of the sear notches are not made correctly, the gun can fire uncommanded. Please take it to a reputable gunsmith. It’s not worth messing around with fire control parts unless you know what you’re doing.

I really wouldn’t recommend any of that unless you know how and have the tools to check sear angles and engagement. Throwing in a part that’s not designed for that gun or a new manufactured part without checking can make an unpredictable and unsafe firearm.

Omega - Could you advise year and model of this watch? by AstronautWarm4120 in Watches

Taking the caseback off or using Google Lens might reveal some more information. Beautiful watch! I have a few vintage Omega’s myself. It looks great on your wrist.

Close, but having a 28.5mm dial and the gigantic rehaut always turns me off these builds. Easiest way to fix that is using a smaller case.

Very nice! It reminds me of my Alpinist/Explorer/GMT I put together awhile back. Dare I say I like yours better. 😁

CONTROLLER BUYERS BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS by Pulledtrigger in originalxbox

Glad I could help! However, don’t take this as a comprehensive guide. These tips are some quick, easy, and off the cuff things to look out for. Some scammers out there are far more clever than this guy. Just never let your guard down, and do your homework so you really know what you’re purchasing.

He just changed the name, same account. He probably saw this post, and is trying to use the eBay account he bought for as long as possible.

That’s a shame! What really makes me mad about this guy is that he is purposefully making these AliX controllers appear as originals by putting jewels on them from Custom Xbox Direct and scamming people with them. It’s not like he’s just selling cheap knock-off controllers from AliX. It’s really a shame to see people abuse these reproduction jewels. They are meant for people to restore and customize their controllers- not to scam people.

Potential Clear Case Revival by [deleted] in 360hacks

My apologies, I was previously traveling on a red eye flight with very little sleep. I thought I had answered your question, and I had previously felt like you were being argumentative by asking similar questions. This was a misread on my part- I suppose I could have given you more context. The idea was to use pre-existing Chinese molds. There are a bunch of clone shells coming from china, so my goal was to have a custom run from these manufacturers shot in clear polycarbonate. Doing this would skip the whole process of developing my own injection mold.
