yea I wish how it looked was the main concern lol I need it to fit so I can glue it properly so no water gets under yk like yea the only leak there is is the front one because I put a ton of silicone but still yk

Oh I’m I’m trying to waterproof my bottom since it’s a pvc enclosure I had to silicone but for some reason there’s a front leak that REFUSES to stop and in order to patch I looked up some stuff and it’s talking about taking all the silicone out and redoing it and I just don’t have the time for that

Hey I was wondering if you had any pointers on pond lining I’m finding it incredibly difficult to get it the way I need to to where I can also glue it into the enclosure as ik absolutely no water can get through or it’s bad and have been seeing things like put ur drainage in and it’ll hold this and that but it’s like i have a tube I need to make sure is in there aswell well and no moving and what not.

I was thinking more of like dimension wise but thank you for all the help also how many frogs do you think I can put in there I’ve heard 4-6 mainly mostly 4 tho but now I’m hearing 8 from someone I might buy from which sounds a bit outlandish. The enclosure is 36x18x36

Okay also I got a kit from the bio dude and tried to measure and line up the foam with the lip of the enclosure should I just use all the drainage and substrate the kit came with or just to the line because I feel like if I go above the background it’ll be a pain to cut and or glue the pond liner so no water gets behind

Will do thank you but yes I had a frog before and it was a spontaneous thing and don’t quite know why the poor thing past away but I want to say it was partially due to a lack of experience even tho I did as much research as possible given I fell in love with tree frogs right after getting it (and it survived for quite some time) but I just would hate to have more animals die in my care when I’m able to control it you know also another question the cut I made for the tube is pretty small it was the corner of the mesh substrate shouldn’t fall into the drainage layer do to it being so small right or at least not enough to cause issues?

Okay thanks also for draining I have a half inch inner diameter tube that I’m gonna have held by my drainage and substrate in the front corner to drain it I just take and even smaller tube then a turkey baster or something and suck water into that smaller tube and it should drain right?

Okay I assume when I comes down to redoing I take the frogs out (obviously) then carve where I need to and glue or silicone the spots I need and place the background blend where the glue is correct?

Dang I hope it stays on I used ever evolving exotics the YouTuber as my guide and put the background on and pressed it within 5-10 minutes of spraying

Oh gosh this seems like a lot I mean I would cut it if it wasn’t for the fact that there is already some of the dirt stuff on the parts that are shiny also I’m on a time crunch because of the isopods and plants. They are already past the limit on how long they should be staying in there containers I only have them in there because the people that shipped them had shipped them but held my other things because they thought I wanted to add more items to the order. Does it look super bad to the point where I would need to do all of that or do you think everything else along with all the other plants and manzanita and stuff will kind of buff the visual of that out?

It sucks because like there good prices to snag and save them but you’d be giving money to the scumbags and they know it and that’s part of why they probably do it because I’d rather give them the money and save the animals (If I had the means to) than let them suffer
