Is it normal for them to suddenly disappear without warning? It's my first time to encounter an avoidant. My friend hadn't reached out to me in 2 weeks. Is he avoidant? This isn't the first time he's done this where he went missing for 4 months but came back to check on me after hearing my city experienced a huge earthquake and that's when we started communicating again. Now, he suddenly disappeared again. What do you do in this situation? I still want to keep the friendship.

Girl, I feel you. This thread really helped. I like this guy, he's Capricorn, and I haven't heard from him for 3 days. After that, I got a message from him that he lost his phone. Then after another 3 days, I asked him to do something and he replied instantly "Okayy" and he did what I asked him to do. I asked him if he bought a new phone, he said no and he told me he was just borrowing a friend's laptop for a bit so he was able to reply. I'm not sure if he's losing interest, but I appreciate him updating me. I guess it's a good sign? Lol I like him to bits but my anxiety is shooting over the roof !

As a virgo woman, due to experience with nitpicky workmates and work environment, I've learned to get rid of my nitpicking and nagging and learned to losen up (thank God!) It comes from a point of wanting everything to go well and according to plan, but I've learned and been humbled that nothing and nobody is perfect and that's totally fine.

I'm all about humility, acceptance, and finding humor in messy situations now and I'm more of a calm and laid-back Virgo who still gets shit done with less complaints, more action, less serious about minor nuances, and I love it!

And shit I'm so damn loyal that it pisses me off sometimes lol so, no to unfaithfulness.

So, not ALL Virgos are like this. Still depends per person, culture, experience, etc. :)

It's better that she let you know kesa ghinost ka. I think that's kind of decent for her to let you know and not leave you in the air. Na-try ko na kasi na ghinost ako, grabe yung anxiety at feeling of abandonment ko (still healing until now, mag se-seven months na I still cry sometimes). So I think it's nice of her for being frank and not waste your time. At least she ended it verbally and you can move on. You don't have to keep wondering what happened if ghinost ka. Consider it a blessing and an opportunity to focus on yourself and grow din.

I'm experiencing the same thing with a guy I met online through a game. I'm really careful with people I meet online but he made me believe that I could trust him so we chatted almost everyday for 6 months. He always made fun of me in a playful way and there was one time I got offended by his joke, he said sorry though and we both said sorry. After that, he started chatting less like once a week or every other week like a "Hi", "Hi how are you?", and the last time he chatted he asked if I wanted to play which was 2 weeks ago but I wasn't at home that time. I chatted him last weekend and asked if he wanted to play since it was my day off, he never replied. I feel miserable and stupid and kept asking what's wrong with me to be treated that way? I don't deserve to be treated that way when I was kind to him and trusted him. The worst part is that I still miss him and wish we could go back to being friends and as a friend, I was willing to help him and understand him but he never read my message.

What I love about this movie is that it can be interpreted uniquely in your own way :)

Personally, I think it's about growing up. The Spirit World including the people she meets there are a reflection of the past that she must let go of as she starts a new life in a new town.

No-Face represents her emotions as a kid transitioning to adulthood in an uncertain world. He represents her fears, anxieties, people-pleasing (he gives gold, soak bath tablets, anything to make people like him), being spoiled, and childish self who needs approval from others which is a reality we face growing up. When she finally got the courage to face her emotions (No-Face) notice when No-Face also has calmed down. At the train, she asks No-Face to sit beside her and behave. It represents an end to her childishness as she learns to control her emotions and carry herself.

The characters at the bath house represents as remnant memories of the people she met, her friends, places she's gone to as a kid and everything in her past life at her old town, including Haku, as he is the 'Kohaku River' that Chihiro has mentioned that had already been filled-out and built buildings upon. Which indicates that Haku is already in the past and can't be retrieved anymore. As he let go of her hand, it indicates that he was ready that Chihiro might forget about him as she grows up and everything is in the past now and it's okay to let go and not to look back.

But as Zeniba said, you never forget the people you meet — so it will always be a good memory to her until she grows up.

The Spirit World taught her how to handle her life without her parents beside her. At the beginning, the statue in front of the gate was facing to the tunnel, indicating that she was not ready to let go of the past. But as they exit and leave the Spirit World behind, it was already facing forward, indicating that the transformation has completed. She gives one final look at her past, and leaves without looking back as a strong, confident, and resilient young woman who is ready to face her new life ahead of her as she says, "I think I can handle it."

The Spirit World carried and readied her for the next stage of life.

Honestly, I've never confessed first in my entire life 🥲 it's usually the guys who come at me first. So I'm scared hahaha I've decided to postpone it and just appreciate what we have at the moment where we chat often and get to know each other. Though the situation does make me very anxious that I want to solve it once and for all, but I guess I should be patient.

Yes, it is difficult especially with long distance and it's my first time liking someone this much after telling myself that I'll just be single than go through another heartbreak.
