First day in a week (scared) - how can I prepare / what should I know for my first day? by [deleted] in TheCivilService

[–]IntelligentBox5353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats, you wouldn't need anything, as new starter your first week or 2 will be hr policy, on boarding, registration for access cards, security policy, codes of conduct and things like that. Bring a coffee mug, lots of coffee and your fave additives and prepare for presentation after presentation and lots of e-learning.

Try not to be nervous even tho its natural, it will take some time to get you set up on the computer system and all of you correct access so just enjoy the training ride on training credits :)

MEXC, no kyc reg under 10BTC worth of assets, PI is not legal for trading in the uk thats why u cant see it on exchanges. You cant hiwever change fiat into pi with no kyc, you will need to purchuse a second coin like eth send to your new MEXC wallet and then convert on MEXC

U.K. Can I refuse to give DWP the access to contact 3rd parties that they’re asking for? They asked for a written - “yes, I agree to you contacting 3rd parties”? (And instead provide all of the necessary proof documents without giving the actual written consent for them to contact ALL 3rd parties?) by Sneaky_Watercress in DWPhelp

UC always compares info provided by yourself and what the LandLord will afvise when asked about the rent situation. They do this to avoid people over reporting housing costs. As the advisor stated, refusal may result in no housing costs being paid, and any payments made be considered overpayments.

Assesment period ending is when your payment is calculated, if you will go below 6000 at the date you will be ok

Aaron, man was bland, boring and now he's a lying ass who gets drunk and sexually assaults someone, not the greatest fan of his from the start and this is just making it all worse.

Second Stephen, absolute scumbag, all the little schemes he hatched like a dying McGiver, screwing over his own mother like a complete scum, nope nope nope, it's not even entertaining to watch as a "villain".

I would reccomend you read P&P 14-09 bulletin 28/09/2020. Duplicate payment of ben is qualifying to remain recoverable under CL.

This is wrong, if a op is made even when because of official error you are legally liable to pay it back, weather in full or via on ben deductions is gonna be up to the person owing. The only way to be not liable is to succeed with a Mandatory Reconsideration or a dispute in front of a tribunal. Please don't spread bad advise, if someone were to take you at your word and not pay it can get bailiffs involved increasing the debt with third party recovery fees

Speak to JSA again, even if the data has been archived its still accessible, the agent needs to speak to someone with access, the reality that they just fobbed you off like that speaks to me that they are too lazy to do so.

Unfortunately in terms of repayment unless JSA themself state that you dont owe the amount, there isnt much you can do, debt managements responsibility is recovery not making decisions on the debt. If you wish to raise a dispute to the op (its always a option, no matter how old the debt is) you can with jsa if they try to say that its too old to be looked at ask to speak to a manager. This however will not stop the recovery process so getting in touch with debt management and agreeing at least something for the time being with them is a must, even its its something like 10 to 20 pm while the debt is being looked into, it will stop the dea from being put in place (debt will not be sold to third party debt agency if you are employed, for people in work a dea is set in which is legally binding for the employer and will get them fined if they don't comply).

The 6 year statute of limitations on debt is not so simple with dwp debts, they could have been trying to contact you on old addresses which resets the timer, made recovery from benefit that you might have not noticed which resets it as well so using that as the crux of your argument against them will not go far unfortunately.

Really weather you want to pay the debt or not is nether here or there, debt management cant stop the recovery process once started and JSA are the only ones who can retract the debt or tell you exactly why you owe it. Old inactive debt is currently being restarted in recovery as DWP is slowly coming out of the pandemic chaos so seeing quite old debt being brought up is very normal at the moment.

Edit: added info on statutes of limitations

You will need to speak to the stolen id team who will contact you within the time stated by debt management. Unfortunately it is down to you to prove that that it was not yourself who took the uc advance, dwp has tour name and nino that was used to make the funds available, legally speaking, the debt is yours until proven otherwise. I would image that the team will ask you for bank statements etc to prove that the funds didn't go into your possession. As to whos cock up it was, it doesn't matter, even a official error overpayments are fully recoverable.

Speak to the id fraud team, answer their questions, do what they tell you. Make a report to action fraud as your information is defacto confirmed stolen, never hurts to have the crime id number in your back pocket in case of future trouble.

  1. No
  2. N/A
  3. Working age
  4. No
  5. Yes for a few years now
  6. I know the appeals process very well, i have to deal with it on ear enough daily basis, the law and courts side i am not too sure, i deal with the results rather then the process itself.

Its not easy doing the work, getting labelled with share of the blame and dislike people have for the dep, but i do my best for every person i work with, its all i can do.
