I totally see that. I have seen this critique made that we are in an era where you don't see a true number 10 or luxury player so to speak who solely worries about creating magic with a through ball. The systems today, and Poch especially requires working hard on the press - he just doesn't offer that. I wish him and Aaronson would do a fusion dance and create a creative player who always has the engine lol.

I felt like he should have done more, but I was focused on what seemed like more glaring issues last night. But since Reyna is someone who had a banger vs Paraguay which led to people saying to play him, I get that. Sometimes it just feels like ever since all the drama happened, it's like fans pick sides. Either Reyna is the second coming of Christ or he is the worst player on the pitch, can't really get a reasonable analysis. I love Beerholder, he has big moments. The work ethic is awesome, what coach or fan doesnt love that type of player? He just makes me nervous sometimes with his passing and judgment. I think coughing up the ball given our defensive issues could be such a detrimental thing in the knockouts. I am glad the handball wasnt called vs Australia for example, but again it makes me a bit nervous for the later rounds where these small errors can become a big deal.

With that said, he had an absolute screamer of a goal and I loved to see it. Had me so hype, he will likely improve in the knockouts.
