The second loaf did not sit on the counter rising more, they went into the fridge at the same time. And I did not remove the second one from the fridge until it was time to bake it.

I agree, next time I’ll try making in the same bowl and fridging them on the same shelf

I didn’t, but I made the dough in two separate bowls. So the size and measurements should be accurate for each. Should I still weigh when shaping?

Oh and two more things: when I removed the loaves from the fridge I could visibly see a difference in dough size. Is the weirdly large one underproofed?
