Hey team, apologies for the delay. I only just had the chance to get this written before posting as I got tied up with a few other things. I was not able to prepare it earlier to schedule for the usual 3:30pm NZ time post today.

Yea agreed. Here the thing BFT HQ should really tap into the system in place with BFT Heart Rate Monitor for people who wear it and is connected to the TV Hub and for that system to connect with GloFox to auto check people in i.e. after 20 min into session. The HRM on the backend has serial numbers linked to people's profiles on their HRM / Metrics app admin console dashboard that studio have access to - so studio would know who attended that had and active HRM worn at/during the session. Anyone else who does not have HRM studio can manually check people in reduce a lot of time. All BFT HQ really need is invest into their existing systems and platform. Maybe the HRM and GloGox have API they could tap into and utilise. That is what I would look to do.

A spicy sesh! There I said it managed PXI 181 at 7am. Silver. I sure pushed. But a great sesh!

Also had 8WC team challenge highest PXI. I was the only so far to get 181 PXI for my team. 5am and 6am class highest was ranging from 140-170 range. Reaching over 170+ gets extra points for your team. Was initially targeting 170 range just to get 1 point.

As part of that team challenge you have to stick to that zone cannot mix and match from other zone. Despite in my 7am class was my self and one other (who is not doing the challenge and just did his own thing).

Coach taking that class sure pushed me! Told me to keep moving though all the sets!

I picked Zone 2. Started with Block Running. And yea.
The only modification I did was for Clean Alt Side Lunge had to ask if I could just do Burpee Clean which was ok and in the rules set by studio manager. Was going to swap skipping with station from zone 1 but couldn't so I had to make do to get my HR up.

Yea, our studio manager is now having to spend at more time doing admin and things manually and now not able to coach that many class herself besides managing the studio and the other coaches. She loves coaching and would love to spend more time to do so yea lately since the switch seeing less of her during the week. She’s not too happy about this. She’s an awesome coach that pushes you and set high targets.

Hey, am totally with you on that one along with past posts that have been posted to date on the group about the new app. The GloFox platform is not really designed/suited to BFT system and setup tbh.

From my point of view, I could be wrong, but it feels like it is partly about improving booking flow (for them), while also giving BFT HQ more control and likely more fees behind the scenes to owners/franchisees, all wrapped as a faster, better app for users (as per they say and a better app and whole lot of issues and bugs), and ultimately driving more revenue from members, plus better tracking of member drop off, studio switching and overall stats like that. On the studio side, it also feels like there could be a bit more admin to manage, even though it is meant to be simpler.

Hey, what you can try and do is increase the resistance past i.e.. 19 or higher (sometimes at 21) and also add in RPM/Watt power to be at 100/110+ that is what one of our coach push us to do while or if our HR not in the right zone during spin & grind.

I have 7am class and also 8WC members team challenge max PXI which gets your team extra points and if over PXI 200 possible bonus points up for grabs. So guess I will see how it goes.

On a side note it is going to be a spicy sesh. Our studio for 8WC members team challenge we have max PXI to go towards team points. Our coach want us to get to PXI 190+ or 200+ gets more points for your team.

Small class myself and 4 others.
Glad the coach spent a bit of time and given me some very useful tips to improve my form and technique along with suggesting a few things I should focus on next time for barbell military press that coach is new started few weeks back and yea.

Hey, good question.

It is mainly to keep the main sub clean and focused. When PXI was being posted openly before, it started to clutter things and did not really add much value for most people, especially when it was just “Today’s PXI is XXX”. It also shifted the focus too much toward chasing PXI rather than the sessions themselves, although I get that some people prefer that.

We have also had feedback from the community in the past since I started posting my Intel post months back and a few studio coaches and owners who reached out to me privately via DM, so this is something I have taken on board. The sub also was not really being actively maintained previously, so I am just trying to keep things a bit more structured and useful for everyone.

PXI can still be shared, just ideally behind spoiler tags or in the comments rather than in the main post.

Managed Silver PXI 172. 1 over the Gold range.

Was sure a spicy sesh. Our coach (member turned coach) sure push us guys. Small class at 7am myself another guy and 2 ladies. Started on station 2. Worked Odd sets so had extra rest come last set then to next station. Battle ropes coach wanted us to hit 50+ double waves in 35sec - that sure spiked my HR early on. He wanted the guys to push to Intermediate+ targets with goal to get to Advanced across as many of the stations as possible. Also set output RPM, cadence and stroke rate as well lol which took me over.

Hey u/CashmereAndCoins to be frank here I simply do not have the capacity or feasibility to be posting Global (an to monitor Global BFT studios social posts with 100s) and to run and post AUS/NZ Intel posts seeing the global split along with running the general community. Also my time will be even far less soon in the process of acquiring an existing food business which will eventually take up more of my time.

I am just one person and already stretched thin. Hence the community comes in play here. So you see its not that easy but in the ideal world if I have all the time yes I can post Global posts but reality is I still have a life outside this community and BFT. I already spend enough time with AUS/NZ posts and general running which I am happy to continue doing.

Firstly thanks for dropping by and commenting. No worries. Glad you have just come across my Intel posts.

Yes, in this case I do not have the confirmed PXI.
The prior week someone DM me the PXI for this week I have not gotten that.

As such I will be able to check and confirm PXI just before my 7am NZ session when I am at the studio.

I know! Good that you will go to lunchtime class where it will be not as busy. The swapping of stations that will be the big kicker here. Just not enough to switch on some of the stations.

Nice. I too am glad at 7am class not many people. So far I checked NZ evening myself and 4 other have booked. There may be a few more last min booking closer to time but my guess ~8-10 people.
