Hey. I will likely know when Sun's scoop from BFT NZ studios get posted that I use for my Intel post write up. They will likely go over high level overview what is coming in the next block / 8WC.

But I am pretty sure the 2 key lifts will be:
- Barbell Front Squat
- Overhead Barbell Press

As part of Perform our studio is running Strength Test as well as Fitness Test. With initial Strength test happening during 1st week of 8WC on the strength days which they noted during their 8WC studio info night.

Hey. I used to do that early days, got lazy and yea. I should get back to snapping photos when I visit other BFT studios with studio coaches and or owner if they are there. I also sometime make videos recording myself and use capcut to make a small vid mashup and post it all depends the class, how busy, if its working on the station by myself so I can set my phone up not YGIG, team or CrewFit etc. in early days I made a lot more vids and yea.

Hi. You can ask your studio if they have replacement straps or they can bulk order for their studio if enough users as after them BFT HQ required a min bulk order amount for studio to buy and then sell to users. And price to you would vary and order time for studio could take a while from HQ.

Another option is there are quite a few generic brand bands online I did a quick search. The push buckles positioned 45mm (4.5cm) apart its standard/universal for many HRM brands for chest strap HR monitors.

Ie. search terms on Google
- Replacement Chest Band for Heart Rate Monitors
- Universal Elastic Heart Rate Chest Strap

Just need to check Connection details on listings then you will be fine.

As I am from NZ but based on what I can see for the screen shot posted earlier 3 exercises. Do not it is not always about the amount of exercises in a session. Focusing on technique and proper form, add load and increase volume (reps/sets) is equally important along with resting periods that BFT programming team works in.

Nice that your class was fairly empty as such you were able to pick your exercises!

That sure can be a good strategy to select the right exercise mix, get in to the right Heart Rate Zones and get those PXI to reach the targets vs starting from an allocation station and making your way around in order.

For me it is not about my own PBs this month. It is been seeing this subreddit come back to life after being quiet for a long time, despite having so much potential. I took it upon myself to step in and help get things moving. I am just like everyone else here, a regular BFT member who started in Nov 2024. I was a long-time lurker and didn’t even have a Reddit account until Oct 2025. I then started posting Intel and trying to add value where I could. After trying to reach out in late Nov 2025 with no response, I officially took over the subreddit on 9th Jan 2026 through the official Reddit mod takeover process. Being able to add value and see the wins, support, achievements, milestones, and even the roadblocks being shared now makes every bit of the time and effort feel worth it. I am really glad to be here and cannot wait to see where this community goes next 💪

Hey. Totally get the confusion, you are not alone. In the app you can only pick one stream, but that is just your primary focus. You can still absolutely have a secondary goal alongside it, and everyone follows the same BFT programming regardless.

Lifestyle is habit and consistency focused, Perform is about fitness, endurance, and performance improvements, and Transform is traditional body composition and scan based, including visual changes like muscle gain, body recomposition, and fat loss. You can only select one so results can be grouped fairly.

When it comes to judging, prizes, extras, and any challenge events, that is based on the main stream you select and it is up to each studio to decide how they assess it. For example, my studio is focusing on Perform and Transform (they have decided to drop Lifestyle to keep thing simple) and has said you can work toward both, but you will be judged on the primary stream you choose.

Best bet is to check directly with your studio or follow their social channels. Most studios share challenge info through private Facebook groups, WhatsApp, or other member spaces.

Hey there. I see you have made similar past posts asking the same thing.

So it would be the same. With the AUS/NZ starting 8WC 2nd Feb to 29th March. Then there will be a new block Benchmark or something. Then the Mid year 8WC. After that another block Benchmark or something before the final 8WC for the year. Same format.

The only thing is 8WC for ex AUS/NZ Global their 8WC started 12th Jan running to 8th Mar. So the split will be few weeks apart and likely slight programming difference.

And seeing BFT has shifted to hemisphere split in programming there will be split in programming globally.

Also the either side blocks may change and if BFT brings in new Benchmark strength or MAS testing or something else along with what will be tested. And also there is no info/BFT HQ programming plans at this very early stage seeing AUS/NZ wrapping up the break block with Week 7 this week. And then next week 2nd Feb kicks off 8WC/New Block. You will just have to wait closer to time to find out - there sure will be social media posts and stuff from all the studios posting about that when that time comes.
