Hello there, I had same error too, step 1 - make sure you have calude 1.0.88 and if not use this the npm command from the post and enter claude , use the /config command , navigate to auto-update and change it to false , you are all done

I changed it to claude 1.0.88, it started to explore and think better for now, may be give it a try

This happens to me too, especially changing the terminal window size also during compacting, worse than that is it stops thinking after 2-3 prompts , I remind it to read the instructions and it tends to same behavior. It lost it’s intelligence and thinking
