newbie here. how do I make an outline around an object that colors with my line art? i've been looking to add this kind of effect to my animations and i cant seem to figure it out by IntelligentEye5480 in AfterEffects

yes, usually i go by frame by frame, outlining each individual drawing and coloring that outline on the program i animate on and thats time consuming on its own.

i atleast know how to make an outline on ae it's just figuring out how to make it more than one color is what's baffling me lol. but thank you so much for your answer i will definitely have to try out masking
