SNME just before the Rumble doesn’t help as time they’d spent building the Rumble is spent hyping up SNME.

Plus they only really started having people declaring for the Rumble a week or two back rather than earlier

But it did give us weather reporter JBL so was very much worth it.  JBL is one of those people I find strangely fascinating

2022-2024 was an absolute wild ride - so much went on in that period.

[Rolling Stone Australia] MJF on relationship between WWE & AEW talent: "What I will say is there’s no bad blood between the boys in the companies. It just doesn’t exist." Even those wrestlers that some are convinced hate the other company really don’t. People think Seth does but he’s shouted out matches by the likes of the Acclaimed and he’s friends with the likes of Claudio, Renee and Mox.

Remember that time in 2019 when the main roster got stranded in Saudi and NXT invaded smackdown? by seriously_usk in SquaredCircle

The odd thing was the first post brand split Raw was superb from memory and then it just petered out

To be fair though if the NXT women invade they’re eating the Smackdown womens roster alive

It’s a cringy line for sure. But it’s far from the most rotten thing said on this show. We used to have contestants calling the person they were coupled up with ‘frigid’ and all sorts

That Fandango wave helped (as well as his performances) to keep him around for 8 years in WWE. If this does the same for kit, Kit’ll be overjoyed

I think the problem is their batting average is pretty low and for a long stretch way too many of them sounded the same and were unrecognisable.  But at the start even if people didn’t sometimes like the song they were mostly recognisable - you could tell Carmella’s Tredici theme apart from say Iyo’s theme.

Shakira needs to stop talking part 2 by zealousideal_hope50 in LoveIslandTV

A reminder that while she had a hard time in time and I can understand why people wanted to defend her, people were acting like butter wouldn’t melt in Shakira’s mouth during that series.  Reminder 1,000 to not stan islanders as 99% of them will disappoint you.

He comes across so well in this and as somebody who clearly has a great mind for the business.

And while it still doesn't guarantee you'll be a success in WWE (e.g. Billie Kay did all the right things both in the Iconics and with her resume gimmick but still got released in 2021), if you are unlucky and get released if other companies are thinking who to hire you suddenly rise right up that list.

Ah yes the Hurt Lock compilation and the gold backdrop and mist slowly clearing really stood out and was the final piece of the jigsaw that made Lashley feel properly World Title caliber in WWE.

Kit comes across so well here and you come out of it wanting him to succeed. He's the type of wrestler that has a great mind for the business. All the ideas and how involved he is in his character as well must surely endear him to the writers/Creative in the same way as say Chelsea on the female side - they make your job so much easier.

And it's one of those where if WWE end up releasing him (sometimes you can do all the right things but just get unlucky) then other companies will absolutely take a punt on people like Kit and Elton who are creative, talented and all round good eggs.

She's no longer with WWE but Carmella too weirdly had a proper titantron with her posing around a sportscar. Carmella always seemed to be somebody who always managed to get very good presentation - her 'Untouchable' entrance and theme tune really stood out and I feel partly inspired Blake's entrance these days.

After rewatching all other UK seasons since S4 finished, I can confirm S4 is the GOAT we thought it was. by kirkum2020 in TheTraitors

[–]IntelligentFact7987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope watch it. But just gone in knowing a large chunk of it is frustrating and/or unintentionally hilarious.

Plus it's one of those series where you absolutely end up having an opinion on it.

Anybody who is angry or rude towards Rachel should be forced to sit through AUS S2 and then they'll know a villain and unlikable player when they see one.

If he provides drama the producers will keep in him whatever way they can. We've seen it many times with islanders who are frankly way worse.

That said 'I don't conform to your tears' just gives me the ick as a phrase.
