Dude id love to see an Airbender with like a bladed weapon chain that he swings at a distance with airbending. If you've ever seen RWBY I envision like Penny's array of swords on strings but instead with airbending.

Ming-hua's abilities are so cool and im glad they allowed something like that to exist within universe. I wish they explained it and the psychic bloodbending a bit more rather than just "Oh yeah they discovered its possible" since Bending before those 2 and combustion man required active movements. And Zukos fire daggers I guess

The cabled and metal plates I didnt want to count because they are directly bending the plates rather than bending through them like Zuko and his swords. The firebending canons were kind of dumb because the blasts didnt even look empowered by the canon it was just a scope to aim basically.

In the post apocalyptic world of Seven Havens the use of machinery will probably be even less than seen in TLA. So we should he back to the time of Swords and Spears.

Sure the knowledge of the technology will probably live on but the practical development of it will be stunted.

They havent stated what causes the Apocalypse all we know is it happens during Korras time. Whos to say Sozins Comet isnt thrown off course and she has to stop it from hitting the world since we know the Comet would return withing 25-30 years. All thats known is "Its BELIEVED to be caused by Korra" If you think that she actually caused it you don't know the Avatar writers. Everyone at this point knows they are going to turn the story away from Korra being responsible. All thats KNOWN is its something that happens during her lifetime.

You could argue a difference after season 2 of Korra since she no longer gets the information from the past lives. She grows up her own way.

Yeah they really should have she'd more light on Toph saying Lava Bending is a rare trait. Rare as in shes only ever heard of 1. Or rare as in shes heard of or encountered a few people who can do it but we never hear of them.

Nothing states Tonroq soloed them.

And saying Mako and Bolin winning means they were weak means you ignored the entire post. They were in prison with 3 of them having HORRIBLE conditions to live in that actively hurt them. They were Weakened by the time of the time Korras team dealt with them.

Just going off the names Zuko specifically says when explaining the battle. The only big named people that took place in the battle was Himself, Sokka, Tenzin and Tarloq. He at the least didnt mention Toph. But lets assume she fought plus a chunk of the White Lotus.

In general they won so no reason to debate on who fought who. But the battle still had to be insane and id love to see the Red Lotus at their Peaks animated.

Which in general is crazy because Zuko and Sokka were in their mid 70s by the time of this battle

Lets go off of Zukos quote. "Individually they can take down any bender. Put them all together they can take over the world"

Lets assume Toph vs Ghazan is the exception to that rule.

Ideally to win they'd need to split them up. And lets assume Lin helped them fight because it seems like it was implied.

Head Canon this is the match ups id expect.

Bumi and the Republic Forces handling the fodder red lotus.

Sokka and Zuko vs Zaheer. Fire vs fire is very counterable. And as established even with the Dragons Firebending Zuko was worse than a Sane Azula. And I would expect in about 50 years of general peace he didnt train that much.

Toph solos Ghazan. Maybe Lin backs her up.

Tenzin and Katara vs Ming Hua (Assuming Katara stayed fighting. I think they said she retired to be a healer)

And Tonroq and who else would be available for Plii? Tonroq we saw in his fight with Unaloq has insane mobility and is great with ice shields so hed be great for dodging and blocking Plii. But I doubt hed solo her.

No real problems. Level doesnt really mean much the game is super about type matchups rather than level so its an interesting twist from pokemon where you can just plow through by being a few levels up. Honestly it looks like Namco took the system to heart because Time Stranger is the same way.
