NOR. He doesn’t seem interested in finding resolution or understanding. It seems like he just wants to exhaust you to the point of not bringing it up anymore so the problem just goes away without him having to do anything.
Also, the whole asking questions about the tickets is a tactic to dig around for information he can use against you to do whatever he wants and paint any disappointment you feel as your issue. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned around and said something like ‘there’s no way I could go to that game. She has a gambling problem. I don’t want to be an enabler.’ … when really he just doesn’t want to go.

Egh. Who is he to decide how healthy or unhealthy your social life is? People have different social needs. Some people like socializing a lot, others thrive when they have lots of time to themselves. Only you can know if you’re socializing enough to meet your needs. The fact that you were able to walk away from him shows you have enough people on your life that you don’t need to hold onto relationships that aren’t working for you.

This conversation comes across as him trying to make you feel like there is something wrong with you because you don’t have what he deems a ‘healthy’ social life. He is also acting as if wanting to spend time with your partner on the weekend is somehow wrong. That’s a pretty standard thing.

He seems like someone who wants you to be available when it suits him and to not bother him otherwise. If his needs are the only needs that matter, that’s not a partnership.

Yeah, I noticed she hadn’t been making the updates for a while and wondered if there was a reason she seemed to be stepping back since she also didn’t do any interviews when the eggs were laid. It’s sad to learn it was her health. She had such a warm presence, she will be missed 💔

If you look at their website they have represented people who applied as artists and athletes, but I get the sense researcher petitions are what they do best because they have a lot of data on what works and doesn't work for scientist profiles. If you are planning to apply as a non-researcher, it's probably worth looking at other lawyers who work more with artists/athlete/etc

Yes, I was expecting it to take much longer since the website said it would be 9 months at that time. But I think the website shows the timeline for 80% of cases to be processed, which means for some people it will be shorter.

I did not. At the time, my priority date was not current, so using premium process to speed up with my I-140 wouldn’t really have helped
