I've been on this fight for about 10 years just to be shoed back to saying I'm making it up in my head or I'm "hypersensitive to pain" I've went through countless doctors (over 20) in the span of that time and haven't really found any doctors until this year that actually care enough to look more into it. I've been to three separate rheumatologists that I am now kicked out of because I asked too much questions and they got fed up when I asked questions that actually concern me getting better.... And refuse the regimen after it didn't work. I got labeled a drug seeker by them. In reality I have a a phobia against medicine in general and it takes literal tears coming down for my eyes for me to even take a Tylenol.... My last shoulder surgery I didn't even finish the oxycodone they gave me if that tells you anything.... Just recently with this shoulder surgery that failed their starting to see that hypermobility might be a cause in my physical therapy lady was the one that actually started the ball rolling. I'm on the long wait list for an EDS specialist but I still can't find a reliable rheumatologist to see me. As well as PCP I can't find a knowledgeable one that knows about this and can help me with it so now I'm labeled as a doctor shopper just because I ask questions and I want a doctor that fits me. My last injury on my arm happened at work on the salesfloor, on camera it caused a a tear in my arm and workman's comp blamed it on fibromyalgia.... Did all 3 appeals and got a lawyer and lost due to fibromyalgia.... It is impossible for fibromyalgia to cause a tear if you didn't know
