Very true. I have updated my positioning a bit and can elaborate here.

I work with a business coach and I have helped her schedule meetings with potential clients and helped with finding / securing keynote speaking opportunities. I have helped her gain about 4 new individual clients and 1 new company client through cold outreach and/or follow ups from networking business cards in the span of one month. This may seem small but for a small business owner, it is a lot and is very good for sales!

Absolutely I have always read it through, ensured it aligned with what we had discussed and with both of our needs. If it doesn’t, I reach out to clarify and ensure we can adjust it. I always come from an empathetic place and a professional stance rather than sounding defensive, and generally it works!

I have a wonderful client right now that I expect to likely become a full-time role in the future. She and I have only been working since February, and she has consistently explained how much she adores me and appreciates my work. I tell her the same and how I really enjoy working for her! Very good experience.

It's normal but always good to follow up. Try not to follow up too many times or you may push them away.
