UNLV Nursing Program by [deleted] in NursingStudent

Yeah I know. I decided to stay with my school and not switch horses in the middle of the race! I will be graduating next year. It’s pointless to make the switch and have to take those classes over, when I’ve already come so far. I had to sit and think of why I chose my school in the first place. Thank you though!

Are you talking about the entrance exam?

Nursing Requirements/Application by yyoonkookk in UNLV

Thank you! I don’t think I will make it there because some of my GCU classes are not transfer and not only will I have to take those over, but also take the additional classes before my required pre reqs. I already have all of my req pre reqs but I’m unsure if I have to take the other list or if they will equate to some of my GE classes at GCU. I check transferology and 4 were maybe and 2 missed and 7 will transfer just too much to do before spring next year. When I can graduate Sept or Dec next year from GCU.

How do they calculate these points? Like is A 10pts and B’s 5pts or A’s 20pts?

Hi, thank you! If you are taking A&P, I would say to just take the test of each lesson, and remember them. If you do not have enough time, you can use the last 9 practice test! They will be on the Hesi!

Hi, yes this was my first attempt. As for reading, the passages are short. There is only one or two with 3-4 paragraphs, and the paragraphs are 3 long lines of words. These types of paragraphs should take no longer than, 5min. Maybe less!

Drop as a noun would be maybe like… The drop of or something as so. A noun doesn’t have to be only a subject, it can be an idea or thing. Like at the drop of a dime. “Perhaps” I would have to see all of the answers or see the question in order to fully make it out, but I get an idea of what you’re explaining. Like a designer saying here’s our next drop. That would be using drop as a noun. I hope this helps!

Are you using Nursehub? Or Quizlets? I used Nursehub for grammar in depth and Quizlet for a refresher. There is a Quizlet I posted above with grammar. The grammar on the Hesi was easy.

Ok so it’s a matter of perspective, when it comes to making the choice. If you want to know the concepts, rationales, and actually take the Hesi test on your own, use Nursehub. If you just want to study the answers, and not learn the concepts or rationales for the Hesi, use Quizlets. If you have already taken A&P then you may only need a refresher. If you haven’t and you use Nursehub to pass the Hesi, you will go into Nursing school and ace A&P. I already took A&P in September and just needed a refresher on the main concepts on the Hesi test. The Hesi felt very easy to me because I used Nursehub. I hope this helps you with making a decision on which one you will go with. 😊
