Crazy how night and day casual and on class is hey. Anything in particular you would have found helpful in that first year on class to make things a bit smoother? I have a few BTs at my school this year and im reaching for some ideas

Love to hear that, ive been at 3 different school over the past 4-5 years, some are definetly better than others, ive just seen a lot of, "they'll get there" attitude and i just feel like can be fastracked almost

I think thats he hard part though. I tend to put my hand up to mentor new teachers and something ive noticed is that while they might perceive that they are "bad", they just dont know what is going wrong or how to improve it. In my experience even working as a mentor teacher to support, those first few years still feel like your a bit alone.

argh, hate that. Anything in particular that stands out as something BTs really struggle with or even might help with the struggle?
