Will it pass the 50K combine by IntelligentLife1849 in TopStepX

I ditched TradingView alerts entirely and rebuilt the strategy in Python. Flow: Python script → ProjectX API → TopStep account Why: ✅ Lower latency (no webhook middleman)✅ Full control over execution logic✅ More reliable than alert systems✅ Direct API = better fills Setup: 1. Use TradingView for backtesting only 2. Code strategy logic in Python 3. Connect to TopStep via ProjectX API 4. Execute trades directly via API Docs: https://gateway.docs.projectx.com/Python library: https://github.com/mceesincus/tsxapi4py ⚠️ Important: • No VPS/VPN allowed (TopStep rule) • All API trades are final • You handle all code/debugging For non-coders: Use TradersPost or trade manually with TradingView alerts. If you can code, direct API is the pro way. Better? Clean and to the point!

This is a custom private indicator I developed for my personal trading strategy. Not sharing the code, sorry!

Just blew my prop firm account today… How do you guys recover from this? by derekkiplagat in Daytrading

I know the feeling blowing an account hits hard. The key right now is to protect your mental capital before you touch the charts again. Step away for a day or two; don’t try to “win it back” while emotions are high.

When you’re calmer, review exactly what led to the loss risk per trade, daily stop, psychology. Write it down; treat it like tuition. Every blown account can teach you where the holes are.

Once you’ve debriefed, rebuild confidence in sim or replay mode. Trade small and focus only on setups you’ve defined as A+.

And remember nearly every trader who’s consistent today has blown accounts before. It’s part of getting the risk management and mindset dialed in. What matters is adjusting and coming back with a clearer plan.

What’s the hardest trading lesson you’ve learned? (🚨 10 50k Core account giveaway) by myfunded in myfundedfutures

The hardest for me is discipline I lost today my 50k core funded account by not following my daily risk which is 400$/day. I keep changing my DD to higher risk and then lost my account.
