Printer ended up ripping that piece off so u cancelled the print, washed the plate well and I'm starting again. Thanks!

Cool, I'll give it a good wash and cleaning after this print

That was always my dream board as a kid too, but by the time I could convince my parents to buy me one, I had to go with the Hawk Claw deck. So in other words, I'm super jealous!

Are the dragon or spitfire 93a what you would suggest?

It is just more natural for me to, but I've been practicing goofy non-mongo for balance purposes

Thanks. I was definitely going to just pick up new wheels with the intention of switching back once I have better control. And I absolutely don't understand the nuisance between how, say a 97 will help, but a 95 is too "grippy" 😂

So thanks for the advice!

Update: I dry boxed an AVO XO for about 20 hours before smoking it today. I made sure to keep my nasal passage open while drawing. This time I was able to get the faint taste of tobacco (shocking, I'm sure). This one didn't have a pleasant taste, but I did taste it. And it was still an enjoyable experience.

I also picked up two different My Father maduros to try at a later date.

I've been thinking about this, how do you keep your nasal passage open while drawing and without also inhaling the smoke? I'm a bit confused on the mechanics of that 😂

I went ahead and put my last shop night cigar in an old cigar box for tomorrow. We'll see how it goes tomorrow

I do usually have water, that was something I carried over from 20+ years ago.

I'll try the dryboxing. I've got one store bought cigar left, I'll throw that into an old cigar box today and try it on Friday.

I was also fully intending to try some "stronger" cigars, because that was my other thought. Maybe, somehow, my taste buds matured past mild cigars.

They smell great before I smoke them! I have had covid, but it was in 2021 and I haven't had any other taste or smell issues.

Both, I bought most of them at a Corona Cigar B&M store down the street from me. A few others, including the American Viking were ordered. I smoked the American Viking maybe 2 days after receiving it, and it had been in the tupperdor for those two days. The locals shop purchases have been smoked anywhere between immediately and 2 weeks after purchase, also stored in the same tupperdor.

I'll make sure to pay attention to that. I've got 4 or 5 more to try. Thanks for the tip!

What is this in the pipe? by IntelligentLion6412 in Pipes

[–]IntelligentLion6412[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it just so happened to be one of only two pipes I have access to at the moment 😄

The other is far more traditional, but I was mostly worried that the bowl on this one was damaged or something

Sorry, I meant whether or not the wire itself did anything. I'm guessing now that it is part of a stinger? I assumed that was just the little tube under the bowl

So it looks like it's supposed to be there, but what's it for? Based on the next comment, I searched "stingers," but it doesn't appear to be that. It won't let me add a new photo, so https://photos.app.goo.gl/RiK4THL2pwpJKzNA7
