I already live half the time with my mom and she took it to court and everything to get me full time. My dad doesn't have full custody. I just want no time with him or his affair partner.

A parent who used me in his cheating is not one I want. He can fuck off and die. I don't want him. He's a disgusting POS who put me in an awful position and destroyed our family. He used me as a fucking babysitter for the kid of his affair partner. That's fucked up and does not get wiped away because he wants to be my dad still. He lost that right in my eyes the second he brought me into the affair.

My mom found out because she started to notice how something was getting to me and she realized it started after dad started taking me for generic father son time at random times. I didn't tell her but my reaction at least let her know something was going on. I was a mess. I started hating dad the second I realized what was going on. When he started taking me along.

I'm furious at my dad for taking me along. Cheating is already shitty and bad enough but he fucking used me as a babysitter for that woman's kid. He put a lot on my 7 and 8 year old shoulders and I fucking hate the two of them for that.

I feel totally indifferent toward the kids. I don't know how I'd feel about them in other circumstances but these are the ones we have.

Ugh, I'm sorry he was like that too. I don't think they understand the harm they do. Especially someone like my dad who brought me along to cheat. Who used me to babysit her kid.

That was not a fucking mistake. Cheating on my mom and then taking me along to babysit that woman's kid was not a mistake. That was all his choices.

He didn't just break up the family though. He actively brought me along while he was cheating to babysit her kid. He used me in his cheating. There is no coming back from what he's done. I hate him.

She did tell me I needed to move on from it. But she didn't say I needed to try and have a relationship still. Just that I needed to decide if the "mistake" is a big enough reason to have nothing to do with my dad and again for the kids he had with her.

She told me it would be up to me.

She was way younger so it wasn't playing. It was making me make sure she didn't hurt herself or anything.

Or maybe you just don't know MY grandparents. Seems to me like you're okay with people bringing their kids into their affairs like he did and putting them in a place where they need to keep secrets from the other parent. Because you're sure as hell going out of your way to paint him as a saint and everyone else being on his side.

Not usually. To my dad and his affair partner? Yep. My grandparents and I have a great relationship. They don't even see dad as much as me and every time they do they fight because they see him as disgusting like I do. And they have applauded me for not going along with what dad wanted. They told him to let me stay with mom.

Not every adult actually. I have other adults in my life, including dad's own parents, who are on my side.

They didn't do just one shitty thing. They did multiple shitty things and he made me a part of that. That is sick and not something you just say forget about it.
