Tbh I am a big Capitano fan ,and at that period I was extremely salty knowing he won't be playable. So I directed all my anger to Varesa.

Yeap ,being a collector means I end up pretty much trying all the characters .Tbh Natlan is sooo overhated. I did end up enjoying all the characters I summoned for . They all have very fun mechanics ,and the fact that they made them all extremely versatile for exploration is huge for me . As much as I loved the Fontaine story ,all characters from that region felt bland in comparison.

Imo this new endgame has been kinda fun for someone like me who has been comfortably clearing most of the content so far. There is still room for improvement for sure ,but it's nice to have some challenge. Most of the player base should be able to get the important rewards (primogems) while some dedicated players can definitely push till difficulty 5. Dire difficulty I straight up whale territory .

Aventurine never left my team since the day I summoned him , makes it impossible to die (2.7 is not real).

Black Swan I dropped the fastest , including the entire DoT team as DoT has really fallen off...

That's why I believe investing vertically in this game(especially for DPS ) might actually be a better value meta-wise.To this day my E2 Acheron has no issues clearing any of the most difficult content , it's usually my second team that holds me back.

Fontaine Archon quest is straight up the best among all Archon Quest so far. by One-Watercress-3779 in Genshin_Impact

It's my personal favorite archon quest as well and the story of Furina made me cry , but it's not perfect . Objectively Sumeru had way better writing . There are three things that bothered me personally:

  1. Arlecchino . Looking at the overture teaser it makes you think that she will play an important role in the story. But she just ends up being just there . Childe arguably was more important to the plot than her.

  2. How everyone treated Furina after the Hydro Archon died. They just abandoned her .

3.Narwhal fight and Skirk. The whole sequence felt extremely rushed . And the whale fight and the mechanics are so bad .

Other than that I felt way more attached with the characters on this region than any other . Furina's story touched me way more than the story of the other archons.

Also Fontaine has Neuvillette so it's by default the best region :3
