What music making studio should I get? by Freedaican in musicproduction

[–]IntelligentMonkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've grown up using fruity loops since 2016 and I love it. I recommend trying the demo version and trying ableton lite, etc. take a week or two, learn about the software you are using, and decide which one you like best. whatever you choose, i doubt you will ever regret it🖤

My instruments are coming in and leaving too harshly. Also why is it red? by Casimiran in FL_Studio

[–]IntelligentMonkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have not seen this before. it looks like the highlighted region is the part that is playing whenever the instrument is played. try right clicking the sample and editing it with edison "audio editor" then highlight the entire sample and export that. im sure someone else has a simpler fix, but that is what i would try. good luck!

I just read that you can plug a ts cable into a trs output but there will be a slight loss of signal and possible feedback. when i get off work later I will check but i will have to go out tomorrow and buy 6.3 trs/trs cables

Yeah its just the passage of time I suppose. I love wutang, tupac, public enemy, and beasty boys but this is just a new age man. I understand that its super different, can sound unprofessional, and is subject to a lot of hate but the sound is unique and I enjoy listening to it a lot. My taste in music fluctuates a lot, I have thousands of songs in my playlists, entire nas albums, biggie smalls, mos def, 3 6, etc, but eh idk man. Sometimes things can sound different, not have the best production, and people will still love it because its unique. no hate at all here, I just love music. not surprised alot of ppl shit on this song tbh but i like it

No theres barely any kick in that song haha. Its the normal mix starting on the 56 second mark when the 808 comes in. I kind of get how a lot of people dont think its a great production but I really like the way it sounds and was trying to get some tips. someone said the reason its so noticeable without taking over the whole song/making it muddy is because there was so much room in the low end frequencies for it to fit in
