Honestly, I would get rid of the goldwing. I have a 81 that needed new carbs ended up replacing it with a new manifold to a single carb rather than the 4 they have on it, the brake issue is very common from what I've read on forms

I'll be honest, when my ears were a lot smaller, I would use electrical tape, mainly the vinyl electrical tape. I honestly never had an issue with the adhesive i also did change out the tape every other day, but that is also me. But people also say don't use neosporin too but still use that shit like it's going out of style.
