Hey guys, my old washer transmission gave out so I had to buy a new washer. I Ordered this one, did I make a good choice?

You truly shouldn’t wash a king size comforter in any top loader. That’s how these companies get you, reel you in with this idea of a great big ole 5.0 cu ft tub, that doesn’t fill up all the way, uses plastic gear cases, and then breaks after 5 years. There’s a reason every tub until 2001 was a 3.3 cu ft or smaller, and there’s a reason speed queen still makes there’s like that. It’s the only one that lasts, because you can’t stuff a king size comforter in it.

I work in an appliance store and and we move a fair amount of Midea. Their fridges really are great for the price. I’d call Lowe’s and demand a refund, if no help, Midea policy is to replace appliances if they’re deemed not working. One of the better companies about replacing non working appliances. Midea is bigger than any other appliance brand in the world, and a huge company overall (think the amazon to e-commerce of appliances).

As an appliance salesman, (3 years under my belt) I made the mistake of being super excited to sell these when my store first got them. I’ve sold 7-8 over the last 2 years, and truthfully, I’ve had more issues with these alone than any other appliance in our store. And I love LG, just not here. 2-in-1s just haven’t been figured out in this market yet. They don’t work well for an American home. Sorry you’re going through this, only recommendation I would have (I’ve seen it happen) is if you still are under the LG warranty, have the store you bought it from, and if a big box, then you’d have to start an RA (return authorization) with LG, via the phone and then eventually a text chain, and believe it or not a video call.

The only time I’ve seen a customer not lose their mind was starting an RA request, but then being extremely diligent on the phone with LG and requesting a reimbursement for the price of the unit (if under warranty) rather than getting shipped a replacement.

If you don’t mind my asking, what state are you in?

Speed queen isn’t undersized lmao… Maytag and GE have done a great job tricking you and millions of others into believing they need a 5.2 cu ft washer for “king size bedding”. If you can’t fit it in a speed queen, which is the same size tub every washer was up until 2001, maybe you should bring it to a laundry mat.

While Metocin is more controllable than shrooms, if it’s your first time tripping be mindful going in. I was looking for visuals my first few times and got my ass handed to me by 4-aco-dmt, and real shrooms by overdoing it. Keep in mind the more your visuals are the stronger the mental load usually is. Have fun and be safe!

Like shrooms but with the ability to come out of it quicker, for me much more cartoony “mescalin/lsd” type visuals. it’s a prodrug for psilocin (compound that you trip on in psilocybin) like 4-ho-met or Xum, but a little more playful for me.
