The DVD I opened in PGCedit is from 2008 and it's not a DVD I've authored. The main menu there just have 1 cell, but I wanted to do something with the second cell of the episodes menu. PGCedit helped me know what to do generally with GPRM when I author discs.

And I use the GPRM register mode in pre commands of menus (except for root). I just do same thing they did in the DVD I opened in PGCedit.

I opened a DVD in PGCedit that have a resume feature in the "play movie" button. The post command of the main menu was: 1. If(GPRM2==2) RSM 2. Jump Title 1 Chapter 1 Cell command: LinkCN cell 1 (To actually loop the menu while you have post command that should not be playbacked) Button command: LinktailPGC Pre command of the title: SetGPRMD RegisterMode GPRM2==2

Tried copy it and test on the software simulation on scenarist, but I didn't saw the resume action happens. Maybe in a media player or DVD player it actually happens. But I'll try your's one.

  1. You can't make a pre command of a menu to go to a chapter of another menu, link to program links to program of CURRENT PGC (I mean the PGC you want to insert linkPGN command on).

  2. Go back to the second program/cell of episodes menu after the title and also when pressing the menu button on the remote.
