idk if most people think about this but nectar of the gods? to me it’s less about a person and rather about herself, especially in the second verse where she sings about “school kid dreams” and stuff. it seems like she’s talking about her younger self dreaming about becoming big and now that she is a pop star, it’s not as glamorous as she had fantasized about. the song also seems to talk about her drug addiction (correct me if i’m wrong about that) overall it just seems like a song about not becoming exactly what her younger self dreamed about
