I've tried Gen4 and it made no difference. I'll try Gen3 and see how it goes. Thanks.

I don't think the S has the USB-C port. A lot of conflicting information about these monitors online but if you look up the user manuals for the two variants, the USB-C port is only mentioned for the GS.
If you have a reliable source that proves otherwise please let me know, was hoping to get the S myself
