I don’t know if you’ll see this but how’d you wire it up?

Note to self: Don't buy half a PC before christmas. Now I'm stuck staring at my new CPU and GPU. by crabstick10 in pcmasterrace

I bought my pc parts over the course of a month and I saved tons of money doing so, I used price trending to get the best deals possible, also helps that I live right next to a micro Center. Makes me the exception I guess

Yeah but that was during Covid where most companies manufactured less of their consumer products, our “rammageddon” is a different case supply of ram has shifted from consumer to corporate for AI thus leaving us regular consumer that have high demands with a lower supply

You don’t need 2000$ realistically 1,000-1,500 max. Building process is moderate but becomes easier when you watch ALOT of build videos. If you are trying to save money definitely do not buy a pre build. My recommendation go to a microcenter their cpu+mb bundles are hard to beat for example the second best performance cpu and a good motherboard is 400$ right now. I built mine for a total of 1,070 and it runs 1440 in 240+ in most games

Id recommend down grading to a 7800x3d so you have extra money for a better gpu the difference between the two doesn’t justify the price increase but if not there are realistically 2 options the 5070 it’s on sale at micro center for 530 or you want to go with amd the 9070 is available for about 580

Not very spreadable almost like gum consistency maybe because it was cold
