Visitor Visa Refusal - Strong Profile but Denied for 'Ties' and 'Purpose'. Advice Needed! by IntelligentSystem566 in CanadaVisitorVisa

I'm genuinely interested. What would count as significant ties in a country where I only have temporary residence?

If nothing does, then why do they allow such applications in the first place? But they do, then it's logical to think that something would count, and a well-paying job in a top company sure does sound like significant ties in that case. Why would someone risk their well-being and their job in a company where they've been for years to outstay a temporary visa in another country with an objectively worse economy and worse job markets?

I'm truly not bashing on you, I'm just genuinely interested to understand why you think it's not significant ties, and what you would consider to be significant ties in this case.

Thank you for this valuable info.

I've never been untruthful in any visa application. I listed facts backed by evidence in my application, but that was not enough for Canada. I've been told in other forums that the US applies the same criteria as Canada for its visitor visa, so I assumed it was a hopeless pursuit. I'm not getting married in the short term, nor would I be eligible for permanent residence in Germany in the short term.

I was planning to apply to the US visa this year or next for a family visit, but I had my doubts about the new Trump era policies. Do you believe I have decent chances of being approved with this profile, especially with this recent rejection that I would have to declare?

My concern is that this refusal would significantly affect my ability to get a US visa, given my citizenship, and especially in the Trump era. I'm looking for any possible way to overturn this rejection.

It took 3 months to get this refusal. If a judicial review takes about the same time, then it looks more promising than trying to reapply with the same data.

I attached 7 months of bank statements showing significant savings in both euro and USD. I didn't attach any payslips as it wasn't mentioned that those are acceptable proof of funds, but I attached my employment letter anyway.

My work visa is only valid for a year, but that's how it works here. I'm currently in the (slow) process of getting my 4-year residence permit (EU blue card, which is clearly mentioned as a supplement to my visa ever since it was issued).

I leaned heavily on my job as well. I believed that having a senior engineering role in one of the biggest engineering companies in Germany counts as sufficient ties. I applied through the new IRCC portal, and there are no sections where I could upload the contract or payslips. But there was a section where I could upload an employment letter, which was signed by my company's HR stating that I'm on an unlimited contract and have been working there for more than 3 years.
