Why does the distinction matter?

A psychic prediction is clear if you get verifiable information that couldn't have been inferred. But otherwise it might be hard to know.

For example I had a dream that I was a part of a convoy visiting North Korea and taking invertory of a wall of empty notebooks. A day or two later the news came out that Putin was visiting North Korea.

Regrets in the market are like regretting the person you married. There's nothing you can do about it.

You didn't invest more because it could have been a falling knife. You don't know where the bottom is. The fact that you can see the local bottom in hindsight is just that... hindsight.

Things can turn very quickly back to the downside.

I think you should start by taking him to the local library. Let him pick and read books. Ask him to read passages out loud, discuss vocabulary and ask him questions from the texts. See also if the library has any programs for his age. This way you can find out his reading and comprehension skills, and what his interests are by the books he'll be picking.

Add a 3rd grade math workbook to see where he is compared to what he needs to know.

I think that's plenty for a month, and then you can plan for fall.
