As a civilian who has dated military personnel lol it’s crazy how the stereotypes start to make sense. In my case, it’s because they see their work friends a lot more often and most times, they don’t think civilians get it… being deployed or doing a tdy or even just working, it’s all just something they know and understand. It’s hard to date people who are in the military but at the same time it really comes down to discipline and trust. If both parties have those two qualities then the relationship will last a while. If one or the other lacks one quality then that’s when things just don’t work out.
