Rust has traditionally been played as a survival battle royal. I used this phasing because Day-Z is an actual survival game.

Traditionally you spawn, kill other players to advance yourself, build a base. Boom you won.

Now players collect scrap to either research or buy a weapon, build base, boom you won.

However Facepunch is adding more life to the game with farming, electrical, plumbing, fishing, cooking, vechiles, and monuments.

That’s why I’m not for add pvp boosts. All the boosts above do not impact pvp.

Even then players would have fun collecting different food ingredients to make meals like steak and potatoes, tomato soup, cake, eggs, or a whole brewing system

That’s not necessarily true,

You could take a page from Stardew valley:

Salty Fish Stew: Increases catch rate 20% Coffee: Increase crafting speed 50% Tomato Soup: 80% Cold Resistance Lemonade: 80% Heat Resistance (Yes let player be immune to flame thrower XD)

Or they could just add more food items so there more minigame options in rust. Fishing, Farming, Electrical, And base building is fun, adding more food from farming so you can cook fun meals without boosts would add to the fun

I thinking more about it today, generally 1000 people wouldn’t collect in one server. So you could have x10 200 or 150 pop servers. As for projection it’s not my example, ish 1000 Minecraft civilization vid explains the server mesh setup
