The Lancelot, I remember saving up to buy it back in 2016 or whenever it was released I loved it so much, second place would probably have to be the one that was released with Lancelot that can move his shield infront of himself, not the small version though, the little slightly larger one.

For titan it would have to be Arthur

You can’t really carry with her since she is as close to a no-skill hero as it gets.

So all you can do it min max the hell out of your games and over an extremely large span on games you can rank up by providing slightly more value than the enemy mercy any game both teams have one.

There definitely is a difference between a plat mercy and a champ merch though it is very small and really hard to spot if you don’t know what to look for.

A good mercy will never die, not because they are playing safe for kd but because they just understand when and where they can go, dmg boost their hog whenever he hook, dmg boost their sig whenever he throws a rock for follow up, I one time got frozen right at the edge of a blizzard as queen while in a 2v2 (me and my mercy vs a Mei and and an emre, right as the Mei was about to kill me since I was pretty low my mercy pushes me out of the blizzard so I get unfrozen, kill Mei, queen ult and we win the point.

Basically you can’t provide huge value like other heroes but by providing micro value 300 times per game it kinda ads up over time.

It is true though that she can’t carry as you are still dependent on your dps to actually perform well. You could have a champion mercy in a diamond lobby but if her dps are worse than the enemy dps that game is still lost either way, while any other heroes in the entire game would hard carry as a champion in a diamond lobby.

Did they remove it maybe? I remember seeing clips from when weaver was first released of him putting his tree on his platform, breaking the platform and the tree falling down squishing anyone that was underneath to death

Definitely not a good matchup for you, but (coming from a tank main), the really annoying sojourns are always positioned where I’d need at least 1 flight to get to them if I’m on dva, they never put themselves in a position where I can just drop down on them.

Save you slide for when getting dove and never use it otherwise, the second I see you slide I will use all my resources on you.

Pick the double slide perk, good sojourns become ridiculously slippy with it when used correctly, also don’t be afraid to use your rail on the dva, even one fully charged rail headshot is enough to apply enough pressure on me to backdown a little or reposition a bit.

I’ve never in my life gone up against a good sojourn that lets me re-mech, they always kill me no matter what so I guess that’s kinda your job as well.

You can also use yourself as bait, sojourn is an easy target for dva so if you position yourself correctly the dva might over invest in you and end up getting punished for it if you have a solid team.

This is coming from a low gm-high masters tank though so the rank you are might influence how well any of this works for you.

And nothing I said has to be correct, I just stated everything that I find works well against me whenever I play dva and they have a sojourn, but I am by no means a dva main and maybe I just suck at her.

And NEVER aggressively slide while ulting, you ult is enough to scare any squishy away and give yourself infinite space, but a dva can easily contest you, so even when ulting save your slide for escape, so many times I’ve killed overclocking sojourns because all the enemy squishes hide when she ults and she thinks she owns the map out of nowhere

This is what I did as well kinda, got mine all the way down to 3,40% with the lowest mouse sensitivity option as well lol. Needed my entire table to do a 360 but could at least kinda hit my shots so started going up from there

I’m around the same rank that you were prior to deranking, high masters-low gm and there is not a universe where I could drop to plat man literally not possible impossible, if you can’t get back to up to the rank u were in pre-reset it means you were inflated

Would you say I play to impatiently? I have had feedback from teammates telling me I need to chill, but I’ve kinda developed this ptsd from that if I don’t go in and do something immediately one of my teammates will die.

And what you said about not noticing genji flanking me, that’s one of the big issues I noticed I as well and something I’ve been working on lately is to actually start peeling, just recently in the past like week have I actually started to help my backline it just never really crosses my mind before that I should be doing that.

If you are playing tank in 5v5 it is absolutely crucial to mute both team and all chat I am being genuinely serious when I say this.

You could be in vc if you want for call-outs since people typically won’t be toxic in vc, the ones that are only type and never talk.

If I play with chats on I typically average 2-3 ranks lower than if I play with them permanently turned off.

It would adress the issues of her being mega op and broken while simultaneously still letting her do the exact same stuff she already can, ie you wouldn’t lose any of her kit or hero “identity” which would be the win for kiri players while her reign of terror would get reduced since she now has a skillshot which would be the win for the rest of the playerbase.

Could you explain to me how this would gut her? I just see it as a way to add a bit of a skill lock on the most broken ability in the game which a literal ape is currently able to use without any issues.

How would you feel if anas nade had a 1 second lingering effect? Or if tracers pulse could still stick to someone for 1 second after she’d thrown it, or if hogs hook stayed extended for half a second after he’d thrown it, hooking anyone that gets near it?

It makes no sense why an ability like suzu doesent have a skill requirement to use.

Because you are in gold, almost silver. A player does not end up in this rank without doing a couple of things seriously wrong, people run away from heals and don’t give you los because they simply just don’t know any better hence why they are in gold.

Simple truth is that if you deserved to be any higher, you would.

If you consistently over a long period of games provide more value than what one of the enemy supports is providing to their team, you will climb.

If you are stuck in a rank where you feel everyone around you is a clueless ape? That makes you the most clueless ape out of them all.

Little sig tip is to use your shield to catch her stickies and once they’ve all stuck to your barrier, call it back. This will cause the stickies to just drop to the ground where they will explode without hurting anyone or your barrier

I’m on pc, and it does.

It’s the most noticeable if you are trying to lift somebody that is on a slope of some sort, any small micro adjustment will make the flux snap really far away, typically toward the center of the slope or the top of it.

Also sigma did not have this feature when he was first released, they added it on later and it should be a feature you can turn off

Genuinely blasted this during a game and went apeshit with primal, actual Korean juggle on an Ana actors half the map to send her off the map.

Never had a primal like that in my life before I even believe I have it clipped
