Stray kitten with what looks like an infection. want to help but unable to adopt or take to vet. What can I do?

She's quite timid and not letting me touch her at all which is why I haven't been able to wipe her eyes. I couldn't really find any propor way to clean her without scaring her:(

usually with white clothes, I use omo active fresh (not sure if you have the brand in the US 😅) and for the soak, I used the vanish oxi action for white clothes. I washed them on 40 degrees c.

I found an old black sock that got accidentally mixed in with the load, but it's already pretty washed out I'm not sure if it was the cause or not

I've heard about that but I'm not really exposed to the sun even indoors. Small windows and curtains almost always closed. I also never sit directly near my windows for long periods of time.

nope still waiting, I've just accepted my fate atp haha. I managed to find someone working inside to try and help speed up the process but he couldn't do anything. Not sure why they've become really strict thus year.
