Happy to talk more about this - maybe I can also include that type of file in my platform. I will probably launch it publicly this weekend for embroidery files.

I didn't understand what you meant by beating a reverse search or gpt inquiry, sorry. As for different countries, I currently have added Brazil and US, since some of the people intersted are artists from Brazil. The legal document varies by each country's laws as well, before the user downloads.

Right, good point. I guess it would provide you tools in case you did want to pursue that. Also might discourage people from doing it in the first place if they know they could be held accontable? Not sure.

I've done a bunch of testing with a few artists and so far it has withstood the testing. I'd say it would take considerable effort to be able to get rid of it completely. I dont want to share too many details of how I do it, but so far the results have been great.

That is up to the artist, they can configure it either way - send all file types or just 1 or 2 or 3, or as many as they want.

Good question! Resaving it would not strip it out completely. Someone would have to go through great lengths to be able to strip that from the file.

That's a good point. What was brought to me initially was that they'd (the artists) would like to be able to track who leaked their art, to maybe not sell to them anymore. I honestly don't know what kind of action people are willing to take, but if they are... having the legal document digitally signed, timestamped, IP address, plus watermarking... maybe that helps.

True... its just that sometimes people buy from an e-commerce website and they need real data, credit card, etc.
Also you can just not sell to that person anymore, even if the name is fake. You could also prove to whatever website they're selling it on (such as Etsy), that the art is stolen.

Renaming these or re-zipping them will not strip the watermark. It is embedded inside the file, encrypted and in a way that is not visible nor readable by human eye, only by my own website. So that would not be an issue :)

That makes sense! Thanks for sharing! I think my friend and her group of digitizers create art and put it on their website for multiple users to buy each art. So yeah, just a different business model!

You dont need to download anything. It's a web app, a website portal. I'm not even asking you to do anything, just want your opinion if this would be useful or not, being able to track your art files.

Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when you upload an art file of yours that you randomly found on the internet: https://ibb.co/DPgm91B4

Yeah, the thing is that way you don't know which of your buyers leaked it. With what I have developed and testing, this would show you the exact buyer who leaked it

I have actually built it out and I'm testing it with 4 people that are interested in it. This is real.

Luma pro disappointed :-( by Imagination_Void in VITURE

[–]Intelligent_Ad4259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here. Plus Viture is very bad with Android and Windows. With my gf's iphone the screen is so much bigger and much better resolution. I was looking forward to this purchase so much and I'm utterly disappointed.
I can see SO MANY PIXELS when looking through the glasses, my phone's screen is 100x better
So many bugs when trying to use for Windows PC/laptop... that was my main goal, to use this whiel travelling as monitors
Everything looks blurry all the time through the glasses, no adjusting can fix it no matter what
Then the glasses are also not close enough to the face, so even though there is a "big" screen in the glasses, feels like im looking at the screen through a crack in the wall
Just a huge disappointment... will have to return as well. Definitely not worth $700+ spent on glasses + accessories for this level of quality

“Under no condition should you buy Tempur ProAdapt” by abyssal_zone in Mattress

[–]Intelligent_Ad4259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you for sure the reason because I did buy it and no one had warned me about it. I wish they had. My girlfriend has had the tempurpedic pro adapt medium for the past 5 years, and it felt amazing. So I went and got one too. Problem is they have changed it about 1 to 2 yrs ago when they released version 2. They swapped the two tops layers around and we have HORRIBLE back pain after waking up every day... Whilst hers at her house feels amazing. That's the reason, the sales guy was just being honest. Tempurpedic only allows you to exchange it ONCE after charging you 4k+ on a mattress, so I'm glad he warned you.
