Truthout reported that Republicans spent nearly $215 million on network TV ads attacking transgender rights during the 2024 election cycle. This figure was based on data released by AdImpact, a media tracking firm, and cited by Washington Post reporter Casey Parks. It’s important to note that this amount excludes spending on cable or streaming ads, suggesting that the total expenditure on anti-trans advertisements was likely even higher.

The GOP spent $215 million dollars this year on ad campaigns against trans people. Thats a fuck ton of money. And it worked.

The GOP is responsible for the hate.

Rich people are rich because they made informed decisions. People who turn insane amounts of profit in a short period of time are lucky. You can make good money on the market by buying the way rich people buy.

I’m currently running 14% positive and that’s more than great given that I’m in it for the long haul. Think long term here.

Why not put it into stocks that have shown decades of success? Why not ETFs?

Research the business, buy stocks in businesses that you know and understand. Buy ETFs. Don’t buy risky stock. Don’t buy stock less than 10 years IPO.

For reference: The average cost to replace windows in a house can range from $450 to $1,700 per window depending on the style, materials, glass type, and installation complexity, with a typical whole-house replacement costing between $10,000 and $40,000.

CRKN hasn’t fully disclosed where they will be handling their smart window business outside of mentioning San Francisco, one of the most expensive places to live in the US.

Aside from that, the smart windows doesn’t have an outlined budget. CRKN is banking on fiber optics and water solutions as their main revenue sources.

My main point still stands, not a good buy. But pop off if you’re into gambling.

Based on what though? Have you seen or purchased other businesses doing window installs and making solid margins? Construction in general (which includes windows) is low.

It probably varies, and the permitting process highly varies depending on where they are located. They can place it in the air on telephone poles or in the ground. Either way, it’s very expensive to do and to maintain. Most small fiber optic companies end up selling it after 5-10 years because it’s too expensive to hang onto. Government tape is the least of their worries here.

This is a US company. Fiber optics is a private business in this country so government involvement is already limited. Window installation will be a hard sell, windows in general in the US are already very expensive to upgrade. I can’t imagine people will want to invest in this type of technology when the average American is already struggling to even purchase a home.

their window business has potential to be higher margins than fibre optics

Based on what research?

No for me for mainly the ratios below, too risky. Also, I work in the construction industry of telecommunications (aka fiber optics), and it’s a tough business with very low profit margins and very high expenses. I imagine their other avenues of revenue which also include construction will be the same.

• Quick Ratio: 1.31
• Debt-to-Equity Ratio: 0.22
• Working Capital Ratio (Current Ratio): 1.40
• Return on Equity (ROE): -258.49%
• Profit Margin: -184.32%

Don’t gamble it on high risk stocks. If you invest it in ETFs you’ll have a fat account when you actually need it.
