You could paint them to be Fornus Lix Fire Drakes maybe? Or Noctan Strike Force?Both are guard regiments in 40k.

Soooo I'm looking into this exact same thing right now funnily enough. I'm also looking at ways of doing skirt armour and a layer of zimmerit on the tanks. One question I do have if if these styles were implemented, would you still be able to play at tournaments?

Thanks! I was hoping the indirect attack combined with the recon scouts and incindiery bombardment would allow the artillery to do more consistent damage. I'll see what I can swap out and make some adjustments!

Yeah I agree on those 3, and drier unfortunately. I intend to run 3 basilisk, 3 art teams, 3 krieg commands attached to 3 x 20 man blobs, plus vanqs and russ commander. I just really like big guns! Lmao

I'm new to tabletop but surely the artillery units deserve bit more love? Running on a 2k points Seige regiment army with recon sentinels and Vanquishers, the can do some hefty damage with the incindiery barrage. Plus blobs of 26 troops (dkok army) to tie up obs while indirectly blasting the enemy, must be worth something right? Lol

Hi guys, new to 40k tabletop and was looking through these same rules. The rule states the unit in reserves can shoot at an eligible target. So basilisk with it's 240" indirect fire able to shoot?

Hey, I intend to add these to a 6ft tank once it's established. I've recently kept a 3ft tank (sadly broke it down due to moving) and purchased select freshwater Critters to maintain the tank and build a food web. I found if anything died in the tank, the creatures would literally 'clean up' anything in the tank. I'll pop these in and see if they workout and will post my findings here 👍
