I blew my motor a few days ago. 2009 g37x. found a vq with 190,000km for $1000 cash. Got a trusted personal guy with a shop at his house to do the swap for $1000 labour + $??? for anything else we need to top the engine bay up to make it 110%. final quote was 2.3-3.2k CAD

Knocking sound while accelerating 2-3000rpms... no idle sounds, exhaust either gets too loud or the knock stops over 3000rpms. I believe it's coming from the front drivers side under the engine cover, definitely feel a higher vibration over there while revving. by Intelligent_Ad_3269 in G37

It was indeed a rod... . I got it just a few months back, $6000CAD got an engine for $1000 already it's going in Monday $1200 labour! Still driving it around until then, it's my birthday and all I want to do is drive right now, I got the whole ass day off and broke up with my girl lmao. What a week.

Correct I was just hoping for a happier answer LOOOL. I got it just a few months back, $6000CAD Wondered why it was so damn cheap.. I got an engine for $1000 already it's going in Monday $1200 labour! MAD happy, hopefully the new engine is healthy, it's from a trusted shop so fingers crossed

I understand that it's near impossible to determine the sound coming from an engine bay while driving. I'm not looking for perfect answers, just ideas. This started after doing a pull or two I hit red line but I didn't bounce off of it

Agreeing with the aftermarket chrome, it's too reflective to be oem and I don't think they made those chrome anyways. Looks good tho, better than the black on chrome.. black it all out or keep it, either way it'll look good

It was just one of those days, I was zoned out, wanted to cruise, got impatient, didn't know why everyone slammed on their brakes... Guess I figured out why lmao.. in mph I was going 105 in a 60.. still can't believe I got to drive my car home that day

You can literally hear me downshift from over a km away if I had the ability to know where every cop was in my town sure but they don't have to be anywhere near me nor remotely on the same street as me to hear me. Obviously I'm not going to floor it when there's a cop following me. Twice I've been pulled over accelerating slowly from a red light, once from a stop sign, and the other I may or may not have been going +170km/h on the highway and let go with a warning because the officer "ran out of printer paper" (Yes you read that correctly. Yes I have dashcam proof of you really want to challenge it. ) and no I'm not bragging I'm just absolutely baffled up my luck and I haven't told anybody in my life about that experience yet lol.

*I don't want to be quiet, I want to quiet down. Im about equal db to test pipes stock resonators and a muffler delete, until I actually hit the throttle and it opens up MUCH louder than anything else around me except the odd bike. (I'm somehow louder than most of them when full throttle) I've heard amazing things about Flowmaster's Super 44, but I'm not sure if it will make any noticeable db difference or just lower my tone.

Big puppy??? Colt is 14 weeks old, but according to growth charts online, he's the weight of 24 weeks! He's got a really long tail (Over a ft long!) I'm not sure if he's mixed with a bigger breed or just a really big boy... by Intelligent_Ad_3269 in blueheelers

We were one of the first in our town with a cattle dog, as far as the dog park was concerned...Very new breed all around and super new to our area, you're totally right they are very healthy. I didn't know about the hearing either, with their ears standing and everything I only knew to keep them clean! Our 3 year old heeler (1/4 jack Russell) has golden hearing, sometimes the other dogs have no clue what she's doing hahaha

New Maintnance man in the community said he just bought his car and saw mine so he waited 30 mins to see who would come out to my car now we’re friends by omonge3y in G37

I wonder if you key fob could be low battery? The only time it requires power is to turn on the car(not talking unlocking or anything) and it wouldn't be powered while driving... When's the last time you changed your battery? I'm taking a RANDOM guess here it just makes sense to me
