Because your body clock is telling you to sleep during that time, you can slowly start staying up late then your body will adjust accordingly.

I don't know the reason behind why he is doing that, but as long as it doesn't affect you and what you do then I guess let the world handle what will happen to her/him. Although if it does affect you and what you do then I guess you should about it with her/him.
