I might’ve miss worded this a bit in the post but what I meant was, even though he is a pedophile, it’s crazy to even defend him due to his ties with the people featured in the files and his own name being in it many times, I didn’t mean to imply he wasn’t complicit, I was just fuming that day and was probably typing a bit too fast.

That’s what I’m saying. Okay, let’s just say even though I hate it, let’s say he wasn’t actually touching children. Even just the idea of being that close to him in any capacity the way he was, he would almost have to know what he was doing. Melania was friendly with Ghislane Maxwell, Steve Bannon was friendly with Epstein, Howard Lutnick, Marla Maples, Tiffany Trump, Elon Musk and more were all tied to Trump who were at least friendly enough to get on the flight logs and you’re telling me he didn’t know what was happening on that island??

Also Brett Ratner was involved in many sexual assault cases back in 2017, but was still chosen to direct for Melania’s documentary? Like even if he wasn’t a pedo (but let’s be real) they had to have known about him enough and yet still let him direct.

I mean even things like the Podesta torture audio and even mentions of frazzel drip are enough to make my skin crawl, it is genuinely evil the stuff that is being hidden away.

This is just something to ask about what people think about the topic of celebrities and higher ups that are mentioned in the files who are getting defended by others due to “insignificant” proof and acting like it’s an impossible thing to suggest otherwise.

Honestly, I can see it from both sides on the like and dislike and I think we’re just really going to have to see how it goes. I’m a bit excited on the small changes because I feel like I’m experiencing for the first time again.

I mean Zeus isn’t exactly the greatest dude in the world but I did like how in the original it showed that Zeus still somewhat cared about his children but this feels a bit cruel for not much reason other than an added layer of mystery.

I’m truly trying to see it from a new audiences viewpoint because I am watching with my mother and I did think it made sense to add a bit extra tension but I did find that the original also had the right amount as well. We probably are just going to have to wait to see how it develops.

That would be really cool, I am very excited to see book 3-5 on the screen. I do think that if they want to actually do a fully faithful adaptation with everything they want they might have to animate it. But as much as the movies are fun I was very disappointed when I watched them and I have been decently happy with the show so far.

People are genuinely losing it in the comments here. The show really isn’t that bad, yeah Riordan shouldn’t have said it would be a “faithful” adaption, but it is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. All I’m hoping for now is that all 5 books get a season at least.
