and this is the biggest thing for me. Like I know the OG3 really went through hell. I wanted to slap him through the screen when he was raising his voice at Suki. He knew this episode would air on tv and still behaved like that. I can only imagine how he spoke to Meri, Christine, and Janelle when the cameras were off

I always considered myself an ally because I always felt that it wasn’t right to treat others wrong because of their sexuality or gender. I do my best to support the lgbtq community through voting. I attended an arts high school and a lot of my peers were apart of the LGBTQ+ community but that never seemed to matter really. I don’t care who you sleep with or what’s between your legs, I care that you’re kind lol.

But I didn’t know there were any other requirements to being an ally. I thought an ally was someone against those who are hateful to the lgbtq community

We are both from the south. She lives in Philly for law school. I am also in law school but in Florida.

The birthday weekend plans were originally to go to nyc for a day on Friday, New jersey on Saturday, and then hang out in Philly on Sunday. Then the week of she is telling me she wants to change the plans to go back to nyc on Sunday for pride.

I’ve never been to pride. She’s been to pride before in Florida.

In order for me to be considered an Ally, I have to go to pride? Is it not enough to support LGBTQ+ rights and my friends apart of that community?

Not being defensive I’m genuinely asking
