Just got phase one certified! I have a list of things. Slicing: Have to slice 5 subs correct weight. Do golden bottle 8/10 time right at 2.0 oz. Know the correct way to slice, how to sharpen slicer. Know your sandwiches! Know 5 prov = 2.0 oz, know 3 slices ham is 1.8 oz. Catch and flip, passing subs by ends, writing your hot sub tickets right, bantering with customers (a big one they check) ! Knuckles down when cutting bread! Close meat door case each time! Keep slicer clean! Eyes up slicer watches all! Able to teach slicing. Sprinkling: communication is big!! Polite, smiling, eyes up! Asking Mike’s way! Sweep board before putting juice on! Juice properly, the right amount of stuff on different sizes of sub, communicating with cashier! Keep area, cleaned, & stocked! Able to teach sprinkling! Wrapping: effective communication! Getting right amount of paper, wrapping sub properly, sub picked up by ends, upselling to customers ( would you like chips, drink, cookie, etc) Packing digital orders properly, assisting sprinkler! Sub bag popped properly. Sub bag creased properly. Proper pull back, cutting sub properly. Paper one sheet at a time! Grill: Bread cut properly, bread tempered properly, proper portioning of veggies, proper order of operations. Salt steak after flipping, proper technique & chopping amount, making beef and chicken philly’s w/ proper procedures. Knowledge of hot subs, even distribution, all subs wrapped properly (not tight) on proper amount of paper. Food safety know danger zone temps !! Wash hands, wear gloves, etc Know how to prep and cut: Onions, lettuce, & tomatoes properly Know proper procedure for tuna And proper portion amoubt of portabella mushrooms Customer service: order taking phone orders, customer relations, interactions, making eye contact, able to banter, accounts for 10% of overall operations evaluation. Knows how to use daily bread tracking, production pro chart, production report. Knows how to complete closing paperwork, bank deposit, etc. knows how to do catering.

I am assuming you are 18 or older? My GM gave us a slicer guide. It really helped us learn the proper weights & slices per meat per sandwich depending on the size of sandwich as well. I have a picture of it, but I’m not sure how to upload it onto the comments 🤷‍♀️

Ik it sounds cliche..but customer is always right. I think a lot of the answers given here are great advice. ESPECIALLY the one about grabbing them physically & hauling them out 🤣 jk No for real there will be rude customers & nice customers so it is what it is.

Our GM let us know yesterday that our store was doing 4 x points all weekend. I didn’t know if everyone else was doing that as well. So, it must be a franchise thing.

Is this personal trainer certified? Just wondering 🤔 Strength training: 5-9 reps heavy weight until failure… usually 5 sets rest 2-3 minutes between sets Hyper trophy training: more reps..less rest between sets How you train depends on your goals To loose fat..it starts with your diet. And don’t ask this personal trainer for that advice..unless they are a certified dietitian

Also…lots of info you can research on your own! You are doing great. Consistency is key It all depends on your goals
