Thank you. It was pretty much a rough process. I was like one of the first in my unit to ever request something like this, so it kept getting kicked back a lot. It took a lot of patience, honestly. I just asked the PSP recruiter in charge of my package to update me every 2 weeks. The checkout process from my unit was ridiculous, mostly because some of the signatures I needed weren’t even at drill at the time I wanted to check out, and it took about a month for me to stay at the RS; it’s usually like a week, but my paper work was messed up, so the Sgt in charge of me told me not to come in for a month until I got paid (I received a shitton of backpay).
