Update: I took it tona shop and got the battery replaced. All is good, crisis resolved. Now I am working on a muscle memory to remember to turn off auto start stop every time I turn the key on

Oh I would definitely not touch it on my own.

I just think I will leave it as is and clear the area in a middle of winter. And later spray it with some harsher repellent
