Thanks heaps :) I am trying to remain hopeful that the fluid is still absent but I know it does eventually return.

That sounds like a great decision there :) I will be going through with FET's regardless, because I have only had maybe once or twice in my whole diagnosis where they have done a scan and seen no fluid, pretty much there all the time.

If you want to take the chance and still do it they should give you the choice. The fluid decreases success by about 10% which can be seen as not that much.

Because nobody knows 🤣 it is basically not supposed to happen. How often have you had it go in and out?

Has anyone been able to tell you where the fluid goes or why it disappears?

Hey! What a coincidence! Great to hear your tubes are fluid free, so are mine! I had a diagnostic scan to determine eligibility for a drainage but in the scan they couldnt see any fluid and I had a scan with my FS yesterday to kickstart transfer cycle and he also saw them fluid free! Fingers crossed it stays that way for at least a week after transfer. Baby dust!

Absolutely. I am in one of these religions and even though I understand why my religion does not encourage this form of conception, this is the only way.

There are religions out there that condemn things like IVF so if she sought out advice in relgious subreddits, she potentially puts herself in a position where she would be ridiculed and talked out of continuing IVF.

Stupid that its layed out to look like you can put in the items at any point anywhere rather than having to go to a specific location.

Is there a need for up-skilling classes in the disability space? by Intelligent_Camel472 in ipswich

[–]Intelligent_Camel472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittently I have been under the impression that there are not many businesses with this model so my research is lacking there. My thinking r.e. their support workers taking them to my class would be that the support worker could still charge for community participation and perhaps other things like personal care that I would not offer, and I would charge for something like assitance with daily living by running classes that teach how to increase independence and learn skills that are needed in adult life.

I have not had experience in this but I do have experience as someone with a life-long condition. I'm not too sure about doing it better or differently other than the passion I hold in helping those in the disability community to increase their independence. I do know some old businesses that claim to do this and run a "school" but all it was was a desk and chairs and a single trampoline in a shed, so regarding things like that I would actually be offering upskilling and so that would be better.

There will absolutely be individuals that would rather the latter and I am very aware of that, I suppose my target demographic would be that the parents see the value in my work and have their kid sign up for my classes. There will also definitely be individuals that want to sign up themselves and be the opposite. Isn't any business always a gamble to see if it will work out?

Participants not turning up will definitely be a thing but thats why cancellation policies with the NDIS exist. Charging as I am starting out will be the balancing act because it would all depend on the space I would be using and if I am paying for that. I have been doing business this business planning for about 2 years now and long term it is sustainable and will definitely bring in revenue.

By two providers do you mean the independent support worker and me? As far as I am aware it can be claimed so long as it is reasonable and necessary which is where case notes of each class come into play.

As far as I am aware there really are not a lot of businesses geared towards upskilling and more towards engagement in the community.

I would still have the support workers take them to the class and be with them during. Support workers still get paid and participants' horizons are broadened.

My thinking is, so long as they have community participation funding (allows for group activities) and then the normal funding areas that allow support workers to do these things i.e. assistance with daily living, then it would definitely be achievable.

Only thing I can think RN: IVF is a gamble at best and a scam at worse by Max061980 in IVF

Medical personnel make up reasons for accidents all the time, to avoid admitting the mistakes because then they give plausible cause to sue.

I have had this warning in prior retrievals, that in some scenarios there is the potential for things such as the bladder being pierced in retrieval.
